Thug being a pop icon will NOT be a good look for hip hop. Im tired of ppl ridiculing this genre and it'll only get worse if dude is one of the bigger names in it. I dont even hate Thug but I really dont see it with him. He aint even consistent like Future & Gucci

You said Boosie is "trash AF". That's disrespectful. While he's not what he used to be....calling him trash AF is OD in my opinion. And he's def not trash now...nor never will be. What he did in the first part of this new decade cemented him. Same for wop. Etc.

Certain songs or lyrics will resonate with you more depending on your circumstances. When J Cole raps about trying not to nut in an unfamiliar chick...while knowing he has a condom in his back pocket the whole time.....that may resonate a lot differently with me than say you.

I was in Cali for 4 months and future and thug were getting major radio play...it was those two, travis scott and the weeknd every other song

they'll throw plenty money at thug, white people love to see black people act a fool and encourage other black people to act a fool will land you money from white people for life that is as long as you don't think you are on the same level as them

and yes meek was hyping futures music which is also obvious and why drake linked with future in the first place to spite meek

yes future went back to his roots but he went back with a better understanding of what needed to be done and yes it is better than his older music

drake has also done music with gucci early on in drakes come up and at the most they'll possibly do a song together but no you won't see a drake/gucci project

Gucci trash. I'll take March Madness, the song ya'll stan over heavy in here over anything he ever made. Gucci, and Boosie both trash. I will NEVER get the hype. Understand his impact, music just trash. Only song I really enjoyed by him was stoopid.

IDK there was hardly any filler on either SS1 or SS2 and those were like 20 songs deep each.  There really wasn't much on Barter 6 either come to think about it. DS2 had more filler than anything Thug released in 2015 and that's not being critical of DS2. 

Thug doesn't really do filler and on a track for track basis his, consistency matches just about anybody. Insane considering the amount of music he puts out. 

+ Everybody talking about B6 through SS2 definitely needs to go back and make sure they really listen to Thugga Man La Flare, Purple Album and 1017 Thug. He wasn't quite as consistent then but all those projects are sprinkled with numerous hitters. 

Still think his best stretch to date may have been the run of loose singles he put out two summers ago, mostly from producer albums (Metro, Mike Will)... Blanguage, Some More, Cash Talk, Channel Vintage, Every Monring, About the Money, Take a Picture, Jack Tripper, Take a Picture, Old English, Treasure, etc all that up there with some of his best work and not on any of his projects. 

But yea it's pretty much like a right of passage to go from hating anything Thug touches to appreciating the countless blessings. You can find countless misguided post from me circa 2012/13. Never seen anything like it really.

Drippin and Bye Bye are easily the bottom 2 tracks on here for me

WIcked, Never Forget, Inside the Mattress, No Charge, Perkys Callin, and the title track are all

U really think Drake made a tape with future to spite meek? Like future wasn't scorching hot and he could benefit from and Future can finally sell records so it can work out for everyone. Acting like son ain't been dragging this dude on tour every chance he got before the "beef". Drake did that tape because Drake wanted to do that tape and it was a easy quick cash grab. U saying it like he went and did a tape with Ar-ab to or a Joe scmho he could benefit nothing from.
