What was your first ever pair of NIKE'S

So like the title says what was your very first pair of Nike's?
Mine was the Air Barrage. I got them when I was a kid because my next door neighbor had a pair and I just fell in love with them. It was a simple Black and White color way and I just loved the AIR on the outsole. I remember begging my parent to get me the shoes and it was the first time I got a pair of sneakers that wasn't from payless

 Lets just say they weren't happy about paying so much. I went to 3 different stores making my parent driving all over town before I finally found an athlete's foot that carried the shoes. I wish I still had a pair. 

Here a picture of the shoes, I got the low top just cause that's what I liked. I didn't even know the mid version existed till now.

Infrared 6's back in 1991

I was 5 that time. Loved them shoes...wore em everyday to school until the sole came off.

First pair of Nikes I really remember clearly were the Air Max Uptempo III (97). Just out of nostalgia, I had to cop a pair this past year when they finally retroed.

I wish I could say it was a cool pair but it wasn't....my first Nike joints were some Famous Footwear, extra regular, Live 97 looking jimmys......took em to hell and back tho

But the first pair that I bought entirely with my own money was the Nike Air Pippen IV.

 .

Eventually due to a defect and the Nike Replacement program, those Air Pippen IV's turned into

The Nike Air Zoom GP II.

Some no name 40 dollar bargain basement Nike hoops shoe. Tongue sat half way up my shins, and they had no air in them.

First decent pair was 180 mids several months later. White/Black/Varsity Crimson.


I wanted the 180 highs more. But folks were paying half the cost, and they thought they were ugly.
So didn't happen.
