Hard to tell, we all have different feet. And even with Jordan's and Nikes, I'm a 9.5 or 10 and in rare instances, a 9.  I'd say stay with an 8 or if you have wide feet or want a little more room, go with an 8.5 in men's. Women's, add a full size to 1.5. So in your case a women's 9.5 or 10. But honestly, if you have the money, and don't mind, I'd order 2 sizes from Zappos.com and send what you don't want back. Free shipping to and from and they're usually pretty quick with the refunds. Typically, if I'm unsure of the size, I'll order various pairs. Send what doesn't fit back.

I ordered the cortez from size yesterday. They have a paypal express checkout. Took me less than 1 min to checkout. But when you wanna pay with credit-card go ahead and register.

Funny thing, I am a 9.5 mens so I ordered up 1.5 to an 11 womans Snowflake. It was slightly longer/skinnier at the toe then any of my mens 9.5 GL3's. I decided to buy a 10.5 womans to compare, and the womans 11 and 10.5 were exactly the same.

I think Asics is only 1 full size up. That's my experience. I went with a women's 11 in my Snowflakes and wear a 10 in the GL3. That's why I said up to "1.5" sizes bigger earlier. Nike is the only one off the top of my head where 1.5 size conversion to women's hold true.

Odd coming from me, since I like "tamer" shoes, but the 8 Balls were just too plain for me at $180; however, many can say the same about RF's, too. I passed on the CNCPTS a few times and could just never bring myself to pulling the trigger even though I had them carted every opportunity. Yeah the WCPs are over priced, too, but ... I just like them. Plus I have no Gel Sights and I'm lacking in the blue shoe department, too ... relatively speaking of course.
 
I never knew journeys had Asics by thanks you kinda answered my question. I was wondering if fresh salmon was a men's cw. I think it's better than Ronnies actually
