F1 Official Thread - Grand Prix of Britain

That's the thing though... I think the 'stereotype' is that racecar drivers like to party all the time like James Hunt.  Even Jenson had his playboy-days back then... as did Irvine and DC.  Lew is sorta living that life... hanging at fashion shows, rap artists, etc.  While Nico, Seb, etc like the quiet life.  Both have wives and kids so that makes a difference.

That bit of go-Dutch banter is so typical... making Nico out to look like a stingy, cheap guy...

Any of you guys catch the WEC? 6 Hours of Silverstone is also this weekend. Should be a fun weekend for Motorsport :smokin

The only endurance race I watch is the LM24... and or sometimes Spa/Nurburgring.  Tough to follow when we don't get any coverage.

Anyway, thank goodness old quali is back.

Gutted for my Macca boys, but that was a fun Q3.  Under the new format, we wouldn't have had that ending.

Same here -no coverage. I just subscribed for a full season on the FIA WEC stream. Good value for EUR 34,99. Qualy for the 6H of Silverstone just concluded. FP3 was cancelled because of SNOW! :wow:

Audi 1-2 for the race tomorrow :smokin If we get a repeat of the action of last year... we've got one hell of a race to look forward to.

Anyway, back to F1... Ferrari dropped the ball :\ Lewis starting dead last :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: Hope Britney stalls during the start tomorrow.

Man, this is a good weekend for some motorsport :smokin

Yeah, saw some social media comments on the snow... 2015 was the hottest year on record, while it's snowing in the UK in April... I give up.

Anyway, read some of the comments to Merc GP on Facebook/Twitter?  Lol, those Hammy fans are psycho...

Some loose nuts up there

I'm surprised Mercedes even bothered to reply to those nutters.

In other news... it was over 40 degrees Celsius here today... and yesterday... and the day before that :x :smh:

Hammy being hit with all the reliability issues :smh:

Nico is going to run away with the race and maybe the season.

Great Lap from Ricciardo too. Red Bull slowly getting better and better.

6 straight for Nico.

Great comeback by the Ferrari guys.

I was worried Seb would get penalized for that overtake in the pits.

LOL @ Sebby... but I  don't think Danii did anything wrong... he had the inside line... he saw a gap... he went for it.

Yeah he probably didn't expect him to close in that quickly. Thankfully the stewards didn't ruin the race. Good race all around. :smokin

WEC 6 Hours of Silverstone in about 2 hours' time. So more motorsport action to come. Go Audi :pimp:
