I haven't taken shrooms in over a year so the effects aren't fresh on my mind although I definitely still hold them with me. The main lasting effect is the ego death. I didn't understand what that meant before I tripped and you might not either but essentially any and all prejudicial feelings you have are torn apart. After I tripped, I could look at anyone, no matter how "bad" of a person they were and see their side of things. What made them who they are and why they behave the way they do.
Not really sure about it losing potency but I would highly doubt it would lose much if any at all.
I was terrified going into it, I was building myself up for days and finally putting the lighter to it was a pretty stressful moment but the second I took the first hit all the fear went away. I ended up taking about 3 small to medium sized hits and it certainly didn't blow me away to a point where I didn't know who/what/where I was but I could see the potential if taken in larger amounts. I'm not sure if they mention it in the documentary as I haven't gotten the chance to watch it yet but many say it leaves your rational mind unaffected and I found that to be true. I felt relatively clear headed as I was tripping.

I meant the surgery part as the moments before you go completely out of it. The part where you're on the stretcher, drugged up and being rolled into the surgery room and you're the PRIME attention of the multiple doctors and nurses hovering above you. I felt like I was being taken care of by these beings and I was at absolute peace with that.
I think you guys would like Step in to the fire, should be a pretty easy find

Ive not read all 7 pages to make sure no one else has suggested this, so apologies if someone has.

But i am a huge fan of the ESPN 30 for 30. If you love sports, you will love them.

Enjoy.

Outfoxed, it's about Murdoch's media empire and how fox news is straight propaganda. VERY GOOD WATCH

I watched this a couple days ago on Netflix and it was excellent! It's about how NCAA "student-atheletes" are not compensated fairly enough and are basically indentured servants for the multi-billion dollar industry that is college sports. It also covers how Nike and other big corporations profit off of this industry. If you like college football/basketball and business I promise you will enjoy this. It's an hour and twenty minutes long.

My mom asked me if I wanted to go see 300: Rise of an Empire with the family so I said no and she looked very suspicious of me. So after the movie she checked the history to see if I was watching porn and only found me looking up giant bugs on YouTube. She then said to me "You looked up giant bugs instead porn! On a Friday! You need help son". FML.

Unforgotten: Twenty-Five Years After Willowbrook - YouTube

Willowbrook State School was a state-supported institution for children with intellectual disability located in the Willowbrook neighborhood on Staten Island in New York City from 1947 until 1987. The school was designed for 4,000, but by 1965 it had a population of 6,000. At the time it was the biggest state-run institution for people with mental disabilities in the United States.[1] Conditions and questionable medical practices and experiments prompted Sen. Robert Kennedy to call it a "snake pit."[2] Public outcry led to its closure in 1987, and to federal civil rights legislation protecting people with disabilities. A portion of the grounds and some of the buildings were incorporated into the campus of the College of Staten Island, which moved to Willowbrook in the early 1990s. The rest of the buildings sit abandoned and dilapidated in the Staten Island Greenbelt.
