I wonder what kind of deals we could get for Iguodala. I think people undervalue Iguodala because he isn't a scorer. They don't know that it's the other stuff that makes him a great player. Losing him is gonna be huge for us, because his defense came up huge when we went against guys like Durant. BTW, that Pacers deal looks too good.

Turner's gonna be a lot better this year, he really opened up late in the season as we gave him more time. Will he be that consistent scorer, go to guy? We'll see...hope so.

So give away their two top scorers for basically nothing so they can build through the draft? Brand hasn't played next to a quality center since Kaman in his Clipper days. Give him a solid 5 man and I guarantee you Brand still has alot of juice left in the tank. If I was the Sixers GM i'd think about calling up the Pacers and see about a Granger/Hibbert for Iguodala/Speights deal. If we're going to keep Turner as a big part of this team than the #1 go-to guy has to be a guy like Granger that can play off the ball and knock down shots off Turner and Jrue's penetration.

Granger is a good idea, but he has more value than Iggy straight up, add Hibbert and Indiana w/o a true scorer is getting fleaced. Speights has no value at all.


  
 
I like Turner in an Aaron Afflalo type role. We just need some other guys around him that can consistently knock down shots. There's nobody on this team that can do that at the moment. Meeks, Lou and Thad are probably the best shooters on the team and they'll most likely be coming off the bench again if we don't really make any moves.

Iggy is one of my favorite players. Tough to see him go if we do indeed trade him. But we really need that go to guy.

I honestly don't expect the Sixers to be contenders for the next 3-4 years at minimum

they are too strapped right now with bad moves; I mean even with Iggy and Brand gone at some point; who is going to want to come here? You will have to overpay a big name which hurts you trying to get a 2nd big name.

I like Jrue but I don't think he is a #1 or even #2 in this league; a very good #3 is his ceiling IMO
 
STILL PISSED we ended up with Turner while Washington got Wall...Smh

I still have a TON of faith in Turner though, I still see him being a VERY good pro. Last season started so bad that many people gave up on him and didn't even see how much he improved by years end.

IMO, we keep IGGY unless we get offered a very good trade for him.

Any news on the big man from USC? Remember seeing him last season in College and he seemed very polished for his age. Can score and rebound very good. PRAY we finally found a legit big man
 
Nikola Vucevic named Week 4 EuroCup MVP

Vucevic scored 22 points on 7-8 shooting on two point shots and 8-8 on free throws, pulled 10 rebounds, dished 2 assists and drew 5 fouls.
 
I love Turner, I might be one of the only ones but I just like his style of play. Dude's vicious when he's in that zone.

Turner has a very good attitude and mindset, he will keep working hard no matter what. He may have been a bit overrated coming into the league, but I see him being a very good role player in a winning team. 
I love this team's attitude, there is little to no ego in the team, and we developed good chemistry through the last two years. Elton Brand is a class act and a good leader, and so is the coach. we are in dire need of a centre and a go to scorer. Re-signing Thad is

, something I didn't really expect, or at least I expected more teams to make a run for him. But that being said, we now have Thad, Iggy, and Turner for SF. If we could land a deal to acquire a centre (Brook Lopez?) or a shooting guard (Danny Granger?) for Iggy, I think we will be in real good shape.
 
I saw a video of Evan Turner in practice on some site. His form looks like Ray Allen's compared to last year. Word is that he's looked like a completely different player. I'm looking forward to seeing it in action soon.

Would have made ZERO sense to draft Wall when we have Jrue.

Team is looking really solid right now, hawes has definitely improved and jrue is stepping up as a very good pg. Our biggest strength is the bench right now, other team's benches just can't keep up with Lou, young, and turner
 
my buddy is a season ticket holder, so im always at the games, i was there the last two nights. They are looking solid, either our Defense is great or the teams we are playing just cant shoot. Still havent got a real gauge of the team with us playing below avg teams. But this mondays game vs the pacers should let us see where we are at with a good team. Solid defense and great bench has been key so far.
