That url is not valid and can not be loaded.

Welp, at least we know you won't post it. I knew you wasn't gonna make my argument for me.

What argument?

Peyton made it to the playoffs 11 times, missed two years, made two Super Bowl runs, and made it into the second round or AFC championship game three times. Something like six first round exits.

Did I miss anything? I really don't see what your "point" is, but hey - if what I posted helps you, use it!

I'm just quoting this for future use. Carry on.

Do you, I haven't regretted ANYTHING I've posted about my team yet and I doubt I will.Mez, I'd like to think the Giants will do watever is nessesary to not alter the Eli x Manningham x Cruz x Nicks combo...that right there is deadly and guaranteed playoffs if we let go of Jacobs and work on the running game....not only that but I hope Manningham knows what he is part off and won't screw that up over money.

I don't see how they can pay their 3rd best receiver when guys like Cruz/JPP/Nicks are worth keeping. Jacobs will be gone also, and wouldn't shock me to see Osi gone (especially if JPP gets his well deserved money). You can't keep everyone when you win.

...and man, am I the only one who does not care about this Peyton/Eli stuff? Because I bet they could care less as well, the media just needs something to talk about.

That you don't exclude the playoffs when comparing QBs and just comparing the same amount of time in their careers what Peyton has done in the postseason is not more impressive than what Eli has done.

Lets just disregard how clutch Eli was when the defense was stinking up the place and he had to pull wins out of his rear end for the entire season.

I'm not trying to disregard any of Eli's accomplishments this season, because they are impressive, but some people are going a little overboard with the plaudits for Eli alone, and it really wasn't him winning games alone in the postseason.

So two post season runs make him better than Peyton is what you're saying?

He got them there, but it def. takes a total team effort to win a Superbowl.

According to what I want from a QB, yes. It's definitely part of why I'd lean heavily in that direction when both of their careers are over. If you aint winning when it matters what we talkin bout? I look at Peyton's decade + of trying to get it done and son has 1 ring and 2 SB appearances.

Huh? Exclude the playoffs?

I said "other than the playoffs, what has Eli done?" as in, what else puts him over Peyton? Peyton has Eli in everything EXCEPT one ring... MVPs, stats, etc. I'm not going to put Eli over Peyton AT THIS POINT (that's the big thing, Eli still has time). If you do, well, then good for you.

In a perfect world....lolIf that has to happen then I'm sure nicks and Cruz plus a solid run game = Eli breaking all sorts of records, more playoff visits and wins....they have to keep Osi man

And I'm saying you do not just ignore something if we're comparing QBs. What are you missing?

Is a coincidence that 49er fans are the ones going the hardest on Spygate? That's kind of like me saying Pats 2002 SB doesn't count because of the tuck rule.

Because I'm the only person who has entertained the thought?

What's the purpose of a message board if you can't express your thoughts to the world. You don't have a problem hyping your bum +!$ Chicago bulls...

@ me hyping the Bulls & at them being bums that's funny...

No its bull $@%! because before the playoffs started, hell even before last night, no one in their right mind ever put the two of them in the same discussion as quaterbacks besides saying they were related.  All of a sudden 4 games later he's not only on his brothers level, but he's better than him. That's
laugh.gif
and that's not me saying Eli's not good its just me being honest.

I respect the hell out of Eli but he's not better than his big brother.  As far as you bringing it to the message board, that's all well and dandy thats what we do... But Mez was questioning why this was even a conversation, which it shouldn't be but I informed him you were the cause of it.

It's sad and pathetic

Peyton is 9-10 in the playoffs. In his one Super Bowl win he didn't even play well, he had 3 touchdown and 7 interceptions on his one ring run. Eli had 9 Tds and one interception in this four game run. Stats don't mean a damn thing if u choke when it counts most and that is something little brother has no issues with unlike big brother. Little brother owns his big brothers arch nemesis lulz

Well in that case, I'm glad I got the people going

It's not like anyone here is an expert, so everything we say is our own opinion.

So IMO, Eli already has a better career than Peyton considering his postseason success, and he still has 5 or 6 more prime years to go.... Peyton is done.

And PS... your bum #!+ bulls will never win anything as long as Lebron and Dwyane are breathing.

I can't speak for everyone, but I have a strict No-FRAUD policy for any and all things.  The Rick FRAUD fans from the music section can attest to this from me.  For whatever reason, most folks are hesitant to call out things for what they are, especially when folks try to pull the wool over people's eyes with lies and deceit.  I want folks to have a better sense of honesty and integrity about themselves, so that's why I say what I say.

Yep, tuck rule and Spygate are definitely one in the same. I never thought of it like that until now, but man... you sold me.

Good shot at the 49ers fans, though! Really got 'em!
