not sure why nike would produce the orange pair on the right since they have an identical release out now.. just different weave

I personally hope they don't. It would most likely result in a bunch of people trying to re-create the look of OG colorways they missed out on but only being able to capture 80% of the OG look.

Many of these pairs would then end up on the resell market cluttering up sites like eBay making it harder to search for the true OG's (i.e. the way folks tried to copy the 2002 Black Supreme Dunks with the wack elephant print ID option).

For example, if Nike gave you a greyscale option, you'd have a 50+ listings for "Oreo ID's" to sort through making harder to find the true OG's.

In addition, after all the work folks have put in the past month trying to cop the BW's, do you really want Nike to just turn around and offer a BW ID option???

Just my opinion.

Completely agree, but at the end of the day, Nike just wants that paper.

That's true.

But for us who missed out on the OG colorways, this is the only way we could come close to replicating old colorways and not have to pay expensive reseller eBay prices. If anything, kills the resell game.

Just my opinion as well.

That would actually be smart for nike business wise though, because people would buy a ton of em, and then when they retro og colorways the thirst would still be there... If you could only recreate like 80% of the og colorway
