Black guy hair cuts

naw you dont get it cut wave length if you wolfed for a while tell them to take a lil bit off..then from there they will take lil by lil off till yall come an agreement on the length you want

Im thinkin about gettin parts again..I felt fresh with them in my hair

I have to wash after cut. How u Gon walk around with dead hair on ya dead falling everywhere?

All in ya food, pillow, clothes etc.

That's why u cut wavelength. Don't cut it so low.

After you get a cut don't use shampoo.

Wash your hair/scalp before you get a cut to clean everything up. Get your cut, then after take a hot was rag/cloth and go back over your hair and get all the dead hair out.

Or just run your hair under some hot water for a minute.

Sometimes I wash my hair the night before, then in the morning when I get a cut, I just go before I take a shower and then shower when I get home and run my hair under the water in the shower while brushing. It all depends on how much time I have and what time I get a cut. If I'm getting my cut in the afternoon, I just use the hot rag. If I'm getting it cut in the morning, I just take a shower after the cut. Either way, I don't use shampoo after I get a cut for at least a day.

No shampoo after a cut. Ya'll playing the game backwards.

How you not wash ya hair after a haircut?

I have no idea where my barbers clippers have been and who elses hair he is cutting.

It literally is boggling my mind how yall don't use shampoo after a cut to at least clean your head. Just to save some waves in your head?

It's not the shampoo. It's the water. Check yourself.

Dirty head just to have waves... Either way 3 days later or week later it's still gonna go away.

I'm sayinnnn...

And it's not even gonna do anything. The waves will go away regardless until ur hair grows back. You'd have to not wash it for 2 weeks. That's why u gotta cut wave length.

My waves have never suffered from water.

It has been the shampoo that has effected them.

I think its you who need the check themselves

Ive posted my waves before, I think I know what I'm talking about

Its either your shampoo, or you you got them temporary waves. Your scalp is playing tricks on you, b. If your waves disappear from contact with water, then you ain't spinning for real.

What do you mean? Its not uncommon practice to not wash your hair after a cut.

I wash my hair before the cut, ge the cut, then rinse the extra hair out afterwards.

Whats so crazy about that?

Yall hair weird if ya waves go away just from washing it. That's never happened to me.

It has only really happened to me once or twice. When I got my hair cut a little too low and after I washed my hair, they looked like they shriveled up a little bit.

For the most part, I get cut with a 2, but I've gotten a 1.5 against the grain and my waves looked fine until I washed them.

So I stick to a 2 WTG to keep my waves deep.

Thats why I was telling bruh that if his waves disappear after contact with water, then he needs to keep brushing. Cause I'll be damned if I'm out, it rains, I get home and I don't have waves no more.

What kinda mess is that?

After a cut for me. After a shower with shampoo and water.

Just can't cut it low in order to keep the waves from going away.

I see you, I see you.

That left side though...

I agree with not getting it cut so low, but I still don't agree that water is washing waves away.

AZwildcats AZwildcats Lol my girl had it and she was trying to make me use it and I was like it says it's for girls but fr fr its makes everything so curly if you let it sit for a min before washing it out and you don't need much. The next damn day I went in the store and bought more.

I have to take a shower after a cut. Can't have all that excess hair on me...especially if I'm going out later on that night. I don't loose the fresh cut feel as well. Like Rootin4EverybodyBlack Rootin4EverybodyBlack said, yall hair weird if yall waves go away after washing it

Took a quick pic of what I'm rocking. Got a cut about a week ago. Currently taking biotin.

Damn I might have to get some, the price tag keeps putting me off though :frown:

Idk man, been waving over a decade and I wash and shampoo right when I get home after the cut and it doesn't have any effect on my waves.

Maybe it's because I wash and shampoo before I go to the barber? So my hair turns into a very curly fro and that's what the barber is cutting instead of the waves? Then I go home and lay it back down and the waves look the same. Idk man

I wait at least 1 night before getting a cut. Fri cut, generally washing Sunday evening. Take the fresh 360 into the weekend.
I can't do it. I'm washing immediately.
Naw, especially for waves. Changes the freshness of the cut.
I disagree 100%. I don't know why some of you believe this.

Right after a cut from wolfing over a month you got the waves spinnnnnnning...

after that wash they are all gone

until you wolf again....
False. Your waves will not leave. Your hair is disciplined to lay down. I wash my hair immediately when I get home after a cut and

have no problem retaining my waves.

Exactly! And like some others said, I don't want loose hair everywhere and smelling like spray. As soon as I get home from the barber's shop, I hop in the shower and wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner. The waves still roll hard with no problems.

Bottom line is, if you're losing waves because you wash your hair, that means you have too much product in your hair.

Which means waves isn't for you.  Leave it to the dudes with good hair :pimp:
