My barber has a random *** barbell set sitting over in the corner too.
Anybody rock with the Wahl 5 Star foil shaver though? Like I said, that new Andis T Outliner GTX is some booty, got cut yesterday and at the end he pulled out the Wahl and cleaned up my whole face and got crazy close shave and I was actually scared it might be too close and I'd break out but I'm still smooth today. Made a believer out of me, but the reviews on Amazon are quite mixed
Someone posted this on Amazon
this is the condition of my face 5 days after using the Wahl shaver for the first time, my face looks terrible with in-grown hairs and bumps.

:x :x spoiler that ****, brote

Copping that $20 sponge. I can prolly make one myself, but I'm lazy.

son I had the dominicans use this razor on me when I was like 14... had a young ****** face lookin like a mine field with all the bumps I had after :smh:
Really this is the easiest shaver for me gets all my patchy 19 year old beard off smooth all the time

Ingrown hairs are caused by bacteria. Clean razors, and if using electric, make sure it has a self cleaning mechanism that uses an anti bacterial solution like the Braun Series 7. While shaving, also use a single blade, filling the sink with hot water, use a cap full of bleach in the hot water, soak the blade before shaving, then rising the blade after every two strokes against your skin.  If you have trouble areas, use a tweezer before shaving, soaking the tweezer as well before usage. Using anti bacterial like Bacitracin ointment after shaving, will help quicker healing as well.

I used to have this issue, and these steps have cleared it up, quickly.

A lot of misinformation here. Bumps/ingrown hairs are cause by shaving the hair follicle under the skin as a result of making multiple passes with a blade. The curly hair coils back into the skin as it grows because it's trapped under the skin. This causes the bumps/ingrown hair

While multiple passes may be A cause for irritation, the presence of bacteria is the reason for the hair to remain lodged, and for the follicle to become infected bringing about the swelling.

Women and men who get waxed also suffer from ingrown hairs, and there is no shaving involved at all.

Other razor bump tips is to exfoliate your face 3-4 times a week & rub some cocoa butter in the aforementioned areas. But rather then rub it in completely let it more so dissolve on your face

Son was dry shaving with extra force

Let your facial hair grow back for a month
Rub lemon juice on the bumps everyday, then moisturize with cocoa butter when you wash it off & never scratch

Do not use any force with that Wahl shaver. Pretty much have it sitting on the thumb, then use the other fingers to keep it from falling, no force. And I wouldn't use it every day. Use the clippers in between. Someone posted those rich Barber adjusted blades and they were excellent. Gotta have that same super light touch with that too. Eats through hair like butter, and your skin if you use any force. Dudes just gotta learn to hold these things like a feather. It's your face, it's worth it to learn proper technique.

Matter fact I don't use the shaver since I copped those blades. Just be careful.
