dude you probably bought them months ago. and the cheapest pair ive seen in my size was $1200. a lacebag and tips arent that big of a deal. its not like these pop up everyday

LOL guess it doesnt matter that Thanksgiving is right around the corner, people stay on the Yeezy hunt. im just glad to finally have one of the pairs (although I REALLY wanted the Solars) so I can finally move on with my life.

lol what if i told you i bought a pair of plats a few weeks ago for 1100 and that its easy to find these cheap DS if you know where to look........and cash in hand honestly platinum yeezy 2s with no bag or lace tips arent worth over 800 and the dude who sold them is making roughly 930 after fees and shipping smh 
 
y r u guys arguing over 100 bucks, its not that big of a deal, id rather pay a little extra to avoid meeting up with fools and be backed by paypal/ebay if something goes wrong

this.

it's the holiday season. id rather save a few bucks and shop while protected by Paypal than to meet up with someone who could possibly have a gun and can rob me of $1100+. and overthejumpman don't even come at me like that bro. this isn't a competition of who can get the best deal, its about the shoes and our stories of how we got them. i'd rather get a crisp pair with missing lacetips and bag for $1088 than to buy a heavily creased pair for the same price. id rather save a few dollars and put that money towards gifts for my girlfriend and her son

and with Christmas coming, people with real money will be getting pairs for their loved ones as presents. And after that, tax season comes so there is another hurdle due to people throwing down large sums of money. i had the money and could spend it without stressing because i sold a few pairs of shoes i didnt wear much. end of story

Would it be even be possible to customize plats and 1/2 turn them black? I wanna keep the 3M intact though.

Yeah just use a sharpie, then toss them them in the washing machine, the black will wash right off of the 3M. Then toss them in the dryer to seal the color. They should come out pretty good

You have the wack *** jordan lames and resellers wearing the shoes like its a wack *** pair of jays. dont get me wrong i like most jordans but a true  fan of yeezys not just some sneaker head i mean a genuine fan of yeezys wont have a pair sitting next to a pair of spizikeds, but i digress i give up on limited nikes and these dirty *** resellers who think they can make a living off reselling sneakers im fine with a pair of airforce 180s ,some bred 1s and some black cements cuz at the end of the day im still doper then any one with yeezys 2s cuz im not trying to match a pair that i got for retail with some polo shirt and areo jeans cough cough people in this thread

All the drama with this shoe is annoying. Even before the Solar's and Platinum's dropped, lack of info and delays was taken too far. The same racket is going on with this possible third colorway. Nike and Kanye, get it together!
 
Man who cares about a third colorway. Obviously the Yeezy 2 is overhyped, overpriced, and over-analyzed. Most who have the shoe are going to find their investment will be terrible in years to come. Too many people living in the now these days, just rocking shoes cause they see some one else rocking it, its irrelevant. Just like this shoe.
 
People come in this thread mad as hell over some shoes...calm down. If you dont like it, dont post in here. simple. You're not going to change anyones mind.

if they bought the shoe as an "investment" then yes you are probably right. if they bought it because they truly like the shoe and wanted it in their collection then no.

hype is a stereotype. it generalizes MOST people buying shoes as a hobby right now. not everyone..
