At ALL.

We lost because we didn't play good perimeter defense (or... ANY perimeter defense).

And because we resorted to last season's TRADEMARK: getting outscored by nearly 20 points coming out of halftime.

exactly, plus, turnovers killed the lakers, 21 to 8, and you'll always lose. A good team will always win when one of their scrubs score 18 points andthats what Udoka did

Duncan killed us down low when we didn't double him in the post and when we did somebody was always open for a 3 ball in that second half...we should haveput them away at the beginning of the third but whatever i guess

spurs' defense and role players really stepped up (which is the two things i said to look out for).

it didn't help the lakers that they were turning the ball over and leaving shooters wide open.

The Lakers got outplayed, that's it. They were not the better team tonight. No need to over analyze something simple.

Alright I know that we'll make the playoffs and didn't really mean "Bye playoffs!". But still, its frustrating to see LA go in at half up by9 and proceed to get shallacked in the 2nd half. I would have preferred them to just been beaten straight through. Its like having that W in the palm of yourhand and then letting it slip out.

To add, I don't think its our year this year. Next year sans Kwame, with a wiser and more experienced Bynum, Farmer, Critt, Turiaf, and a desperate for a'chip Kobe and Fisher, we should at least make it to the West finals.

I am sensitive for responding to a stupid comment? Wow. Your right it was a lack of execution. I don't care what you think. We may not be betterthen the spurs but we are not that far behind.. No wonder Duncan hasn't been a big factor when we play them, he has 4 guards to pass the ball to on the floor at the same time.

We didn't guard the perimeter, they were bound to find their shot, and when they found it, they killed us.

The offense was not rolling in the second half, in there lies the problem...
When the Lakers' offense is going great (like the first half) the defense intensity picks up.

I saw this coming after the first half, they went away from what they were doing early in that game. They better be ready for friday.

The Lakers were outplaying them in the first half.

Ronnie did not play the whole third. Phil is always an idiot. All of those things added up. This is not about over analyzing. People are just stating facts.

Please I don't want to see the Spurs period in the playoffs, they are the only team in the West that we don't matchup well with. And really theonly team in the West that plays D night in and night out. PHX, DAL, NO, Utah, etc. don't present those matchup problems for the Lakers. Idealy I wouldlike for Dallas or someone to take care of them in the early rounds so we don't have to see them, but if not, I believe WITH Bynum, Kobe can help us getpast them in the West Finals.
