I'll give you cant run, but cant rebound or play the post??? Have you ever seen Chris Webber play basketball?

Ska just loves writing scripts ...

Screw the strike, join The Office and get that show back on the air.

Show's freaking hilarious.

Speaking of...

... did you happen to see The Office win a Screen Actor's Guild award earlier tonight?

You know what, I didn't. But it's well deserved. I was at the game watching Isiah Thomas coach his team to another loss.

But I don't mean to thread-jack.

Webber won't be a great fit but it can work. If the Warriors decide to run, they still can and Webber would just be left behind on defense. He has somesize and might help with rebounding. Of course no one knows what kind of shape/condition he is in but I trust Nelson with his decision.

webber COULD get a ring

i know it's unlikely...but i mean it's not like he's joining the Timberwolves.

BINGO. The Warriors RUN to an offensive set instead of methodically taking the ball up the court. With Webber in town it'll take a load off of Baronwho basically HAS to create the offense; Webber's vision and passing ability will do wonders for a team whose offense circulates around 1 player. I seeWebber doing wonders for Stephen Jackson should they run a pick and roll together. And with Webber and Harrington out there at the same time it willcompletely spread the floor. Sure, defense will probably be worse than it is now but on the offensive end it should free up the baseline. Expect more pointsfrom an already high scoring ball club.

W's are clearly desperate for front court help by signing Webber.
Although he gives the W's size upfront, his lack of mobility will be exposed on defense.

Offensively, Webber will help the W's particularly when teams try to play zone. He can work the middle of the zone with his passing and midrange game.

Hopefully, it adds another dimension to the W's offensive arsenal. As of late the W's have just lacked a good balance between their perimeter game andinside game.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Webber was supposed to cover up to Bynum!!!!!!
ROLF @ Zen for saying that only Wilt can help the Lakers if he raised from the dead.

^Haha if Phil did say that...I am still questionable with this signing, but as long as it allows the W's to play complete games the rest of the season...Iam all for it.

As far as the Office winning SAG award last night, it was great, I mean the other shows who were nominated also have great casts but really, The Office (US)has risen to fame over the past two years...I think Ricky Gervais should have won Male in a Comedic Performance, Extras is a hilarious show.

whatever happened to finding Baron a backup so he can rest? last I checked dude was still playing around 40+ mins a night.

Exactly...I could see why Detroit picked him up, but Golden State?

^ Al Harrington is not a pure center/PF. He's more to SF.
Biendris is the only center?

Cweb should be useful on the 2nd unit when Baron is resting. We don't run as much break when Baron is not the ball handler. Yes, he has no d, but it'snot like Nellie plays much anyway. He has more offensive skills than all of our big men that we currently have.

I'll reserve judgment til he actually plays with us.

I hope this works out somehow...I read that they might get Gary Payton as well, but C.J. Watson might end up staying for the season....

I think C webb can help you guys but like somebody said the bulk of his PT should be when baron is out.

In all honesty this doesn't make any sense. If anything I thought you guys wanted another PG to take some mintues from baron but what ever...

That's good to hear. C-Webb's career has come full circle. His passing game in that Warriors' system will be a delight.

i think that's what watson is for. i think nelson wanted cwebb so that he could insert watson and cwebb at the same time so that he could give rest tobaron and/or sjax. it's very rare that both get rest at the same time and i think that's what cwebb is for. even though barnes is a captain, he justisn't a leader. i think that's where cwebb steps in.
