They lost the address as Australia but they ship from Hong Kong. They have horrible customer service (besides the saving face move when they oversold during their sale and have people 50% coupons for a future purchase.

My first order (actually second) arrive quickly and came with a cool branded dustbag and large carrying bag.

A week after I placed my real first order, I contacted them asking the status of my order. I also stated I was looking at other shoes if these didn't work out for me and they have been selling out. No reply, I send 2 more emails. A few days later they send a tracking number. It doesn't work at first so I give it a a couple days, still doesn't work. The other shoes I were looking at are now all sold out. I send another email and they respond a couple days later saying it shipped. It doesn't actually ship till 2 days after that. When I finely get the $1200 shoes, they shipped them in clear, thin bubble wrap only and the box is destroyed. The shoes ended up not looking anything like the picture, they were dis colored and poorly made. Instead of being bright white like the photos it's off white with brown spots. I send a couple emails asking how we go about returns. I let them know my first order I received was great, but the box was all damaged. A day or two goes by and they said they notated my packaging concern and there are no returns durning their Boxing Day sale, I ordered days before that.

I send them emails saying I didn't order durning there sale, I read their FAQ before I placed my first order, and I wanted to exchange them.

They never responded to me, I had to file a chargeback and get a new debt card. Then they finely tell me ok they will take the return. I then get hit with import duties for $50 on a $200 purchase. Why, because they marked the price wrong, and their "free" shipping is free because TNT charges the customer handling charges as part of the "duties" .

That's why I said wait till your second order. I will never order from there again, no matter how good the deal appears to be.

Yea that does suck. I knew I couldn't return bc I got 50% off so I just took the chance. It is a little weird that they don't double box but I would have to say everything was great so far. Quick shipping, perfect product, box in perfect condition, I'm just nervous about getting hit with a invoice from TNT shipping in a week or two...I guess we will see

that sounds like a terrible experience. This is why I've never ordered from places outside the US. May try soon, not with sneakerboy though

For anyone interested in the Royals, this was taken when i stopped by the Rodeo store in Beverly Hills yesterday. Not sure what sizes they have in stock, won't hurt to give them a call if you're looking to secure a pair.

How's RODEO so far? Heading back to LA next month for a lil bit...

Anything good at Barneys or Saks? Sales?

I ordered my White Arenas from them on 24th,

arrived safely. very good communication too, definitely nothing like said above.

that sounded more like purchase experience with a rep site...

What I wanna know is if what happened with jackstacks jackstacks was a freak occurrence or happens from time to time. If this happens somewhat repeatedly I'd probably avoid doing business with them myself. But if it was some freak occurrence with some mitigating factors I might give SB a shot if I see a product I like at a price I like too

Rick geos and ramones at MyHabit flew! Great price.

Whoever has the 41 in Ramones on hold, let it go so I can get them!

It might have been isolated but the fact of the matter remains, it happened to me and I was was spending a decent chunk of change. Just off of the clear bubble wrap shipping, I would never order again, unless they said they would box it or wrap it securely like my first order.

If something is half off and you know it fits and you like it, take a chance. I certainly won't be giving them any more of my money.

are there any more sites like this I don't know about lol. they had geos even cheaper then when Gilt had em

for anyone lookin for those ro adidas, tresbien has the blacks (woven nylon/leather) for $552 shipped to US, and all leather pairs for $632. They have some of the best service by far and are one of those companies i mentioned that mark things at a low value without me even asking.

Surprised the dunks didn't sell well imo.

Are you talking about a pair at MyHabit or the older Ricks that had a swoosh-like design?

If you mean those old one, for the most part they sold alright. You got to keep in mind they were around $800 when Prada America Cups were around $300, Common Projects were still around $200 back then too, so in comparison it was still ridiculously expensive back then. Not to mention that the quality was bad, the back sole were stapled and it rusted and stained the sole and more than half fell apart and had the crepe sole that is crazy slippery and melt away with wear.

The biggest factor though, Rick Owens was still on the rise, he wasn't as mainstream now. Only a select few stores carried his brand and even less online. So no one would really buy close to $1k sneakers for a shoddy built pair and from a relatively unknown designer even if the shoes were epically nice. I regret it every day but thinking back, I could understand why I wouldn't pay that much from what I was seeing and hearing about the shoes.
