School me on different nike accounts

dont post on here alot but i agree with many on here this thread has been great.

spoke to a shop owner with a tier 0 & he informed me that a store in lower manhattan (will remain nameless) had a tier 0 account,
& like many other tier 0 account holders, received the space jams early & sold it before the RD, when nike found out, the store was
promptly stripped of there account. also before he got his account from nike and he sent the interior shots of his store nike asked
for a larger wall portion then addidas & wanted him to move addidas to another location (the back) so nike can be in front of the store.

I haven't recently seen any tier 0 exclusive releases in awhile. Last thing I can remember was the damn Destroyer Dunks from say...2005? (The White/Black and Maroon/Black Highs) Anything upcoming I should watch out for? Tier 0 releases sometimes are a !@*+! to cop but quality is usually on point and concepts are innovative

Clothing does move in a store, but it is usually up to the salesperson to hook up the shoes with a matching outfit. Also, a shop can stay open selling exclusively shoes, but stands to make a much greater profit if it sells a variety of items, so any potential owners should not overlook that aspect. Opening an account with Nike requires a lot of strategic planning, a little luck, as well as adjustments deemed necessary by Nike.

Wrd, and sometimes its a good investment, this is a really good thread, was always intrested to learn about the different accounts, but like some1 sed on the last page, why nike doesnt list all of its retailers?

looking to open my online store this late spring...i know this sounds stupid but does Nike give accounts to online stores just out of curiosity

short answer... No

Just read the entire thread. I have a question, if stores have to pay back their nike account net 30. Why don't they just sell stuff online or for cheap that way they can pay back on time. I always see mom and pop stores with stuff just sitting on the shelf and they won't budge on pricing.
Is it because there are certain restrictions that nike imposes on these stores??

Yeah same here, where were you going to open up?? I have an idea for a place but I just need to look into suppliers. I have an idea about location and concept but just not the brands that I would carry.

I know people usually work the other way first.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is this accurate? Because I thought PYS, Sneakerhead, and Skip to My Shoes were strictly online with no store fronts? How are they able to obtain Nike urban accounts? Please shed some light.

ive been looking for a thread like this for a couple of years...guess i wasnt looking hard enough lol

You can have more than one account, but you can't have EVERY SINGLE account. That would just create a monopoly for your store and leaves no competition for the others.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET AN ACCOUNT FOR AN ONLINE STORE?

THE NIKE APPLICATION SAYS IT IS BUT I'M TALKING PRACTICALLY.

CAN YOU OPEN UP AN ONLINE STORE AND REALISITICALLY BE APPROVED FOR A NIKE ACCOUNT?
