Dressing Better Vol 2.0

^Disagree... but like everything else, its all personal opinion.

That being said, I've been considering buying the Brooks Brothers football leather briefcase. Does anyone have any personal experience with one? Wanting to know if it ages well

The high end shoe thread is....well geez.   Those shoes look terrible. Only good looking shoe (obviously all opinion) is the Arenas.

Everything else? If they werent Balenciaga, Rick Owens, etc..

Eh, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. So many shoes in there that I want but don't think I'll ever be able to justify getting. Outside of arenas, gats, and some patent lows.
I find the rest in there :pimp: too, except those new Rick Owen x Adidas joints

Different strokes but I agree with Picasso mostly though...other than a few pairs, many of those kicks aren't practical for me but I don't really wear sneakers much any more aside from JPs, flyknits, and a few new balances. I just don't really get the luxury sneaker thing, but no shots :smokin

Yup should be fine. Unless you want to buy a new suit and shoes then I'd get a charcoal suit and black shoes.
Good luck with the interview

thanks man! i've been told my color combo is a bit bold for someone unproven, so better to ask here.

Was it some older gentlemen who said that? Maybe the finance world is different but I think as long as you're wearing a suit you'll be fine. If I had both a navy and charcoal suit I'd go with the charcoal though

I was in a 32 car pile up Christmas Eve cuz a snow squall. They were a grand away from totaling my whip (which I would've preferred). **** still isn't fixed yet I've been driving a rental for the past month :frown:

Wow that has to be frustrating, would have kicked out the lights before the adjustor came to increase the damage, was in a similar predicament myself not too long ago

Yep, all of this. If it was running all you had to do is complain the engine making a metal on metal sound and they would have totalled it. It may still be an option. Just saying.

Snow if you ended up copping that navy birdseye from TaT that would be a tad bold

Make it more conservative with white shirt, solid charcoal tie, and dark brown or black shoes.

okay, i haven't been told that; either wj4 or someone else posted that here a while back

Yeah the thing is because of the nature of the accident I didn't have any access to my vehicle until after the adjuster saw it. Imagine a 32 car pile up, about 8 ambulances and even more police on the scene immediately. Multiple tow truck companies trying to get as many cars off the road as quickly as possible. And this was Christmas Eve night I was driving from Maryland to NY and the acciden occurred in Pennsylvania about an hour and a half from my parents house where I was traveling. I spent the holidays at my parents and by the time I had to return home to go to work the adjuster hadn't even seen my car (which was in middle of nowhere PA still). I had to arrange for rental before that. I owed 3k and would've gotten about 10k if it was totaled. Leaving me with 7k and I went to credit union to discuss apply for a 10k loan to see about finance another car if mine was totaled. Was looking to spend 17k on a low mileage 2012 Altima (current one is 07). This was the car immediately after accident.

Someone hit me from the back also but this was worst part. Luckily the tractor trailer I slid into was passing through my hometown and gave me a ride the rest of way home so I could make it for Christmas Day.

Still, I wish I would've pressed them more. Still thinking about trading this in for ~6k and then paying the 3k I owe and getting the 2012 anyway. Either that or drive this into the ground :/

Sorry for sidetrack.

I agree with you. So many ugly shoes that I can never afford. I'm not into all the ugly high tops with animal print or spikes or bunch of straps.

There's a lot of gaudy stuff in that thread you couldn't even pay me to wear but you shouldn't sleep on the thread . A lot of really nice somewhat affordable stuff in there too. I really think there's something for everyone in that thread if you wanna spend the money you will find something just as satisfying as getting a nice pair of boots or dress shoes.

Yea, I only like 2 of the high end sneakers but I like more of the high end shoes and loafers though. I think that's where the high end brands really shine and stand out.
