Dressing Better Vol 2.0

When it comes to shoe trees, how much does having off brand ones matter? I was just going to go to the store and buy a pair but then I stumbled across these.

Same price as a in store pair would cost.

Brands don't really matter, if anything, the AE ones, JAB and NR ones are all made by Woodlore who happen to be owned by AE. I go for full toe on my more rounded American style shoes such as Allen Edmonds and Ralph Lauren by Allen Edmonds, although they fit my Carmina pairs well. The split toes like those at NR are great for more narrow shoes, I tend to use them on my Amok's and a couple of loafers.

Rack def had some Dre. Peeped near the shoes?

Either way, most cedar trees are made by Woodlore. AE ones aren't any better (i have some from when C was the resident connect). If you could cop for around $10-15 you did good.
Yeah. They're by the shoe care section. I get mine from 3 local rack branches. They all have them.

Wow forgot all about these. Thanks homie

I have a question for you guys since we are all scattered throughout the regions: Where do you and your friends shop for clothes? I'm particularly interested in the friends that aren't really into fashion. I ask because when I was in Wisconsin, I tried to find the nearest Nordstrom, and it was something like 80 miles away.

styleforum vendors for the most part

i might go to uniqlo/jcrew for vnecks or crewnecks and small stuff like boxers/socks

Even with all these shopping areas nearby, I hardly do anything besides online shopping.

Likewise. Shopping online is easy when you know your own measurements.

I was mainly interest in those who have friends who don't care about this, ie will wear a suit in size 38 or 42, and can't tell the diff.

A handful of my co-workers from what i know shop at either Men's Wearhouse or Express.

If you're near a Cole Haan store they're having an extra 50% off already marked down prices. I got the Air Pinch loafers in black and Air Pinch Tassels in dark brown for $50 each. They also had a lot of Lunar Grands for $129.99 plus another 50% off that. Just a heads up.

I'm not even sure where my friends shop. They don't wear a lot stuff with big logos but the jeans and plaid / dress shirts they wear can be from anywhere. My bestfriend was still wearing his tommy hilfiger carpenter jeans until last year.

You don't count, man

You're in SoCal. I'm more interested in the likes of Dave in H-Town, Carlin in Charlotte, Wes in AL, etc.

Nicer mall here than I am used to, all the high end fashion brands plus Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. Found a men's store I like, Taylor, Richards, and Conger. Still do a lot online.

Birmingham had a couple nice men's stores, Shaias in particular

Only in store shopping I do is J.Crew occasionally. Recently went in for a popover because Modern Tailor doesn't make em.

Outside of stuff like that, errythang online MTM.
