Dressing Better Vol 2.0

I never even knew that was a thing.

I have only worn a jersey in public once, and that was to a Lakers playoff game back in 2009.
You're from a different crowd, my friend. You grew up with the real Asians.

If you were into the Hip Hop/sneaker culture then you would totally understand it, especially at your age because it was prime time.

Even on NT, cats had battle to show off the throwbacks with the matching fitted caps and customized white AF1 lows to match. If you had a Sidekick at the time you were that dude too. That's why you rock the holster. Same goes for Nextel.

i had the sidekick next to the razr on the hip

Shout out to Sasha (1stwitit) for the lapel pins! Appreciate it man...my parents got it in the mail back home today, USPS had delivered it up the block to the wrong house originally [emoji]128553[/emoji]

If we're going that way...

Dressing better before it was cool!

Dat fro tho :))

This is probably the baggiest my clothes were for my "casual" attire.

Aaaand finally dug out a pic with a pair of jorts :))

True. Mostly South Eastern Asians wore that type of attire in my high school.
It just depends on who you grew up and hung out with. I remember my moms friend tried to set me up with her daughter back in high school. She was also from the 626. She basically said I was black washed and had no future because of the music I liked and the way I dressed  no hard feelings. Didn't keep in touch.

Met her again last year or so during a gathering. Dropped a couple of lbs, wore a suit and got a couple of degrees and she didn't recognize me until I told her about the black washed comment

The breakdancing Asians at my high school had OD blonde spikes and super baggy jeans.

Also, Nautica and Old Navy were real popular too back then. Man, mad memories.

The "issues" I see are so minimal they aren't even worth mentioning.

Nautica and Tommy Hilfiger were very popular in middle school.

I wonder how many orders of the 2 for $250 are stimulated from this thread

Today:

Nothing special, but shouts to RFX for the digicam.

Hey dressing better gurus!!! Quick question,

Looking at tuxedos ( for a groom) any suggestions? Ive grown pretty impartial to a Vera Wang black ...also some shoe recommendations as well.

-budget (

$1000 is a good budget. I'm not sure how brolic you are, but if you are on the leaner side, hit up Jason at Thickasthieves.com

He can do tuxes in navy and black.

Kentwang.com can do them too I think.

Thanks...I'd say I'm more on the leaner side so I'll check it out

FYI,

The Cole Haan is for the clearance shoes, not necessarily the sale shoes. Otherwise, the Giraldo wingtips would've been copped already

I think someone was asking about briefcases/bags recently or for anyone looking Jack Spade has an extra 25% off sale items

Check Indochino. 20% off code with FBCOUPON but it expires on Sunday.

Essential Tux comes out to $360 before applicable taxes.

Loving the Indochino Options...Im still a ways from my wedding day so Sunday is a little to soon, but I don't mind the $450 when the time comes. Thanks!!!
