Dressing Better Vol 2.0

oh and fam, been posted me and my girl on here before

and yes, i know my collar got messed up when i unbuttoned :smh:
She sees that Wall Street Potential.

You're such a --------.

And about the dude's pic...you're new here. A pic of jeans & Jordans isn't something that's part of the point of this thread IMO, it's for WDYWT. People don't have to wear suits, ties, newsboy hats or anything in particular but there's another thread for that dude's pic that actually makes sense to post it in.

I couldn't care less about seeing anyone's face or pic. But if this thread ends up with dudes posting pics like that on every page, it'll lose even more of its luster than it did when new members like you decided to come in and act like clowns.

Reality is that it's not too serious but what's the point of a "dressing better" thread if it's no longer that?

Heads up: Scored some Beeswax DBs for $67 shipped from Amazon. Had a 20% off promo code for my first shoe purchase and there was free shipping.

Anybody ever check this site: http://wevther.com/?gender=male some of the stuff is a little strange but the concept is cool imo
this is pretty cool

Not correct brother.

The thread has always been about sharing what we each view as dressing better. It was only recently that it seems certain folks wanna transform it into a GQ/J-Crew Lookbook.

I like different aspect of dressing better. There has never been one idea that dictates what dressing better is. Its always been based on personal opinion. I personally view the fit as fine for dressing better. He clearly is proud of the fit which is why he posted it. Now stop thread derailing, we saw what you did with the pinoy picture.

I'm at work so can't post a pic of me wearing it right now. Worn it for a year now. It's held up great except I lost one of the lower buttons.

Not digging the boxy fit on that. This has always been my method of buying varsity jackets online.

This sneaker thing in this thread is funny. I remember when they were frowned upon and everyone wanted to just wear Desert boots so to see that they're acceptable. I never stopped but its cool to see they're cool again. Anyway, Blazer Md TB for me today.

I'm gonna be a pain in the *** again but what's the point of this pic?
I just don't see how it belongs in here and not WDYWT and generally, you're showing the lower half of yourself + an area rug.
i apologize. was trying to contribute to the sneaker theme from a few pages ago but i can see how my pic isn't of much use without the entire attire

. I'll do better with my future post.

Am I too late for the DB SS????

I've been suspended multiple times as of late lol.

I contribute a fair amount I must say.

LMK guys.

Nice to see you posting back here again Ty.

To be fair, it wasn't the sneakers that was frowned upon, just some types but I do not really want to open that can of worms again so I'll leave it at that.

 I'm sure he didn't mean it like that though..

[/A Baboon Cow Logic] He's in college and dresses like a wall street employee. She clearly notices that he dresses like a wall street employee and subconsciously thinks that one day he will work on Wall Street. What part of that is flawed and not completely thought out? [/A Baboon Cow Logic]

Only a matter of time, before fools come in here to troll and ruin the thread.

Anyway

I'm mad I missed out on the KithNYC drop. Those navy pants are :x.. Though the rest of the drop was iffy. A varsity oxford?

Its getting cold down in TX and been cold for the left and east coasts. What sweater yall rocking and copping?

GQs Face Guide

Save Face: A Forehead-to-Chin Guide
It's the most important part of your body, and it requires routine maintenance—and yes, a few products. Here we present the tools and tips that will get you a clean, blemishless, age-defying mug day after day (even after a long night of drinking)

BASIC TRAINING FOR YOUR FACE

1. WASH
There are grooming products we think you need to invest some cash in. Face wash isn't one of them. Just wash mornings and nights with Cetaphil (available at most drugstores). It's not fancy, and it doesn't need to be.

2. EXFOLIATE
Think of using face scrub like taking out the trash—do it a few times a week to dispose of the dead skin on your face. We like Alba's, which has tiny buffing beads and smells like the beach, all for twelve bucks.

FACE YOUR NEXT CRISIS

START FRACKING YOUR FOREHEAD

Instant Fix does exactly what it claims to do: turn shiny skin matte in reflective regions like your forehead and nose. Keep it in your desk drawer. When you catch your forehead—or even your bald head—glinting in the mirror, reach for it.

CHUG BEER. STAY YOUNG. FOR REAL.
Next time you crack open an IPA, tell wifey you're doing it for your future together. IPAs are loaded with silicon, which means one or two of them will help keep your skin higher and tighter. (Then she'll probably crack one open, too.)

BREAK THROUGH THOSE BREAKOUTS
"An occasional zit can be caused by genes, sweat, even dairy and sugar. When you break out, try an oil-free 2 percent salicylic-acid spot treatment by Neutrogena. It works overnight. If the zit is really deep, head to your dermatologist for a prescription or a quick-fix shot of cortisone."—N.Y.C. dermatologist Sapna Westley

TAKE OUT A 401(K) ON YOUR FACE
Dropping a C-note on serum? Damn right. Start using it in your twenties or thirties for Dorian Gray–like effects down the road. This stuff helps prevent wrinkles and clears up dark patches, and it made us look like we got five more hours of sleep than we actually did.

SOBER UP YOUR HANGOVER EYES
Here's what you do: You get a minuscule dollop of this stuff on each ring finger, and then you gently pat around your eyes. Doing this feels dainty, weird, kind of girlie. But when you're done, you can literally feel your skin tightening up. The bags under your eyes deflate. You look younger instantly—and will look younger later, too, without deeper bags and crow's-feet.

DON'T LAUGH AT THE MAN IN THE MASK

Every Sunday night, I indulge in three things: Homeland, Thai takeout, and a face mask. Actually, a lava-mud face masque from Kyoku, which sounds even more ridiculous as I type it out. Still, it's the most relaxing part of my week. It's bizarre the first time, when you look in the mirror and Heath Ledger's Joker is staring back. But after a minute or so, the thick mud dives deep and your skin starts buzzing—a sensation I can only assume is dirt being sucked out of my pores. Ever since I've started using it, blackheads have been less frequent, my blotchiness has chilled out, and bumps have been nonexistent. The only stressful part of the night is remembering to hose down my face before the delivery guy rings.—Andrew Richdale

That is a tough one, I would be inclined to say no since Clarks UK webstore is: http://www.clarks.co.uk/
US wwebstore here: http://www.clarksusa.com/

And considering that everything in the website is marked down, it makes it real suspicious. Plus the website seems like a copy of the real Clarks website so I would be very cautious if you plan to order from that place.

I could be wrong but if you want my advice, i'd suggest you stay away.

How do you guys care for your shoes? I wiped the water off the leather with a towel and put shoe trees in them but is there anything else i should do? It's still a bit damp in some parts of leather but i cant do anything with that right now

You did the right thing by just wiping and putting shoe trees on them, just let it dry on it's own and it'll be good to go once dry.

I use Allen Edmonds spray waterproofer for my suede boots. I don't use anything for my other boots however since they are shell cordovan.
