Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Anyone know of a good tapered fit light denim wash for folks with bigger/athletic thighs?? :nerd:

Looking for a loafer, chelsea or oxford to wear out to clubs/bars but I'm going to Vegas in 3 weeks so I need to find a pair of shoes I can wear at night..

Was thinking of these, what you guys think? Not looking to spend more than $150 since they'll get beat up

700

Any recommendations on where to get some tanks from? Nothing in particular, just wanted to see some options.

Thanks.

Since we're on the topic regarding entry-level shoes, any suggestions for shoe shining kits, etc.

I've searched the thread and some suggestions that I've seen pop up are AE's polish and Kiwi select shoe polish. Any other suggestions / feedback / reviews? Thanks

PS: Congrats to TyperRpinoy!

Bick4 or Lexol for Conditioner, AE polish is pretty good.[/quote]

Thanks Serge, repped as well.

If you're on a budget, Cotton Up has some nice selections.

I also like Need Supply Co and Saturdays NYC. These two are a bit more expensive, but can also be had for a good deal if on sale.

Have had a few H&M ones for at least two years now.

Holding up just fine and that's including gym wear.

Looking for some shoes to gift my dad, and he really wants something that is casual and doesn't require laces. I'm set on getting these Quoddys, but are they worth it for the price?

As much as I like Quod's I had a bad experience with my previous pair of camp mocs I purchased from them. They only lasted me for about 6 months before the stitching on the toe box started wearing out (I got it fixed and had a good experience with the customer service there). The shoes were defective but either way it was just an annoying experience. Explore your options maybe check out Oak Street and Rancourt too for their models.

Where do you guys buy your white dress shirts? I go through them like Footlocker 4 for $20's.

Any recommendations for a comfortable black shoe that are appropriate for a business casual environment? $250 or less..

I really have no clue but I hate having to fool with an uncomfortable shoe at work and then loosing the laces at the end of the day..

Wait, you go Footlocker for white dress shirts?

I used to get them from J.Crew, but I have started to look into those custom shirt websites. They're cheap and fit better than anything OTR.

Anyone ever buy from meermin.es? Formatting on the site makes me uneasy...just wanna confirm with you guys before I cop a pair of double monks.

it's sad how low the standards for appearance are here.

they are so low people make a big deal if you simply wear a tie.

and i work in the financial field smh

I did, my bad, the way they formatted it as 175,00 as opposed to $175.00 threw me off.

I've ordered multiple times from Meermin. They did change from using the Euro to Dollars since the drop in the Euro.

As Adrian said, legit. If either of you have issues with your order feel free to email me your order #. Sandro; one of the owners, is pretty quick to respond to me.
