im finna go see claude vonstroke for the 2nd time this saturday.
i saw him once for like 30 min. in 2008 or so. pretty excited.

but not as excited i am about one of my favorite producers/djs who ill see
for the 3rd time next saturday

It was not only my first time hitting a club solo, but also being completely sober at a show/club.

So it was pretty awkward at first, especially the times when I wasn't feeling consecutive tracks that were played. And the times I'd get eye ****** by girls, but I'd just awkwardly stand there sober with no wingman not knowing what to do :lol:

But once he started going in, I just lost myself in the music and it was a great night. It was also cool dropping no money on the entire night (got guestlisted, but even with a +1 to get in free and cut the line I still couldn't get anyone to come out. Thirsty ppl would just ask if there were bottles and once I said no just GA the excuses would pour in.) So it was cool saving money on drinks and on top of it not feeling like crap the next day and wasting an entire Saturday recovering.

I haven't gotten my ticket for tomorrow yet, but I'm like 90% sure I'm going. I'm also trying to get other people to come out but either way we should link up if I'm there.

sometimes u just gotta do sht by yourself. i do it time to time and just make freinds at the party.
and dude, u dont need a wingman lol if a girl is eyeing you, just go and say hi. its not that hard. lol.
just compliment her on something. that usually works. whats the worst that can happen?

Its just much easier to operate with a friend

@flyeed I think I'm gonna do marquee tomorrow instead. I've been wanting to see Dennis Ferrer forever and I'm on the guest list. Sounds like none of my boys wanna go so if you somehow end up at marquee holla. Or if I end up at verboten at some point possibly after marquee I'll hit you up.

oh of course its easier with a friend. but you dont necessarily NEED one.

gregzzy23 gregzzy23 Just got a work appointment this Saturday so it would be wise for me to stay in. There's a possibility i'll still go out though. I'll PM you some time tomorrow.

and slim420 slim420 not gunna front I'm naturally a shy/introverted person, but even if I wasn't I just think going up to a group of 4-5 girls by yourself at a loud club is awkward :lol: but I definitely agree with the whats the worst that can happen part which is why the next day I realized I'd handle it differently. It was also a pretty big transition from being with a crew of friends drunk/rolling at a big room progressive house show doing bottle service to being sober+alone at a club for a different sound.

Just listened to all the tracks posted on this page. lots of cool stuff. that Flume Remix was the buzz around the interwebz a few days ago. it's got a hip-hoppy feel that I'm digging.

and u know what else works? just dance like nobodys watching like you DGAF.
girls notice that from my experience, and somtimes will approach first.

One of my fave Boiler Room sets. Boiler Room really attracts some terrible crowds from what I've seen though.

Went to marquee solo for dennis ferrer's set last night. He was awesome. Was pretty different from the last time i was there for mark knight when there was zero space to move. Vid from last night:
 
^alotta buzz around ZHU cuz of the Faded and Moves Like Miss Jackson tracks he did which were also dope. 

There's like a whole multi-genre type sound that's getting a solid amount of appeal from the crowd that's getting over the generic EDM sound. Tchami is my favorite of that bunch. His tracks Shot Caller, Untrue, and MYB are all
