Nike Employee's

Does anyone know if theres a certain requirement that needs to be met in order to transfer from an outlet to an Inline/Running store? I'm almost done with my units to transfer, and I'd like to be able to work at an inline store since it seems like a better fit according to the schools I'm looking at..do you just apply as a regular applicant, or can your Head Coach talk with whatever store?

Nike doesn't do transfers. So you would have to apply like normal to open job posts. But your coach or head coach CAN give you a recommendation if they want to. You just have to ask.

They do. I've known several people that have transferred from NTNY to stores in other cities. You have to speak to your coach about it.

Hey when you guys got hired from Nike did they conduct a background check on you in person or by sending you a email to access this website that conducts the background check? I just received a email from Nike and finished submitting the forms

Congrats bro

Not yet, I did my background check a couple days ago, and I know that takes a little bit to get cleared.  I think the days specified for new hire paper work were the 16th-18th when we filled out those availability sheets before the interview.
I just did the background check too after the in person interview. The hiring manager wants me to log in to my taleo account and update my availability. Any clue how to do that? Manager just said "it's in the prescreening questions". A link to a login or some directions would be tight.

I just got the offer from Nike!! I had to update my availability and they sent me a email to give them a call. From there they offered me the job

It worked! What location did you get hired at?
I got hired at the Niketown in downtown San Francisco. Make sure when you update your availability on Taleo to click on all the available times even overnights even though you can't work those times. That's how I got the call back

Just got a call from the Nike Outlet store offering me a job! I'm so excited! Congrats to everyone else who's been called up to the big leagues lol jk

My local NT is hiring again which is weird cause it's kinda late in the summer. I applied during the Spring and heard literally nothing lol I guess I'll give it another go.

I recently got hired and have to go to "training" for two days. Does anyone know what that's like, or what to expect? Do I need to bring anything?

I recently got hired as well and I start my training today. The manager told me to bring two forms of ID and that we would be getting our staff dress too. Other then that I'm excited for training to start!
