i just interviewed this Wednesday and submitted my background check and i was wandering if i am guaranteed a job at Nike once i submit it.

Hopefully this time around you can do both!I did it part time but it still bored me to death, I'm actually interviewing for an airline next week... if I dont get that Ill probably go back to Nike. I wish I could have done both so I could fly out to the employee store

Yeah it seems like a pretty great second job. Especially working part time plus the benefits. Everyone on here has stated they've loved it.

Pretty much yeah if your background returns as clear. If they weren't interested, you would've received the "thanks but no thanks" email instead of the background check info.

i had a problem a few weeks where theyd give me these 4 hr shifts in the middle of the day during my first job's schedule. had to nip that in the bud. problem now is weekends but its ok for now.
lol @ 4 hr shifts. jokes

Yeah that's why I made sure to do part time. 20 hours or less a week is great for me to have my foot in the Nike door. I also work part time for an airline and go to college so it's right up my alley until I finish school. But dang I feel you though 4 hrs of your day you feel like it's wasted. And yeah I made my availability known so I'd nip that too if it starts to mix. Weekends in free but I can't cut into my first job.I requested that I only get 4 hr shifts

I wonder why they have a part time and part time under though.. Maybe to appeal to those with limited schedules? But those who are open to working whenever would like more hours and can't get it. Idk

You'll get staff dress at the end of training which is 2 tops, 2 black bottoms and shoes up to 85 bucks. Rookie camp is just watching videos and learning company history and a tour of the store with an explanation of departments.

Will there be a limit of how many times you use the discount? I'd want to be able to cop stuff for my friends and use the discount for gifts as well. Also, what's the employee store?

people who can only work weekend and they wont give them full shifts.whie i call out every other weekend shift w a first job . swapping shifts is a chore alone. need 48 hr notice

ohhhhhhh ok I get it now. Yeah swaps are allowed at my other job but it's not as hard there I guess because it's so many ppl that's able to pick up shifts vs one select store.

we had a lot but many people transferes due to a lack of hours. we still have enough but their reasoning is beyond me

I got full sleeves, a long *** beard an long hair. I went to the interview in a white shirt, shorts and air max 2014s. Got the job... not saying to do what I did but they're just concerned with you as a person and your attitude. It's a low paying retail job with a high turnover rate.
