was at the fox hills mall today here in LA doing some shopping and walked into the footaction and they still had my size so got a pair

And do tell quality of said pair.

So those of you who claim to have flawless pairs, give us pics. I'm curious if some batches were bunk or if the whole line was an epic fail.

Back to what dude originally said about this being a flop, now I agree for a few reasons:
1. Ordered pairs from Retailers were never delivered from JB/Nike causing cancelled or backordered items.
2. 70-90% that did COP are not satisfied with the overall Quality of a 23rd anniversary shoe that SHOULD HAVE DELIVERED, especially over the Cavs.
3. These are still around "probably" due to poor quality.

Definitely had to have had an effect. I can only hope for the hype to keep dying down when the winter months come! *Wishful Thinking*
 
I just don't understand why everyone complains about quality. They are shoes and if some of you are such o.g. purists then you know the shoes have always had flaws. The Air Jordan 3 and 4 are and WERE the worst. These 2 models are like Air Force 1's. You get may 5 good wears out of them. If you guys want to get bang for your 160 buy some dress shoes that you can have re-soled.

Give it a rest with "Inspect 7" routine.

Thanks Ambam. Good looking out. I actually want a clean pair to rock but by the look of it, the pair I get will have some flaws. I hope the Nike retail store I return these to don't try to resell these and send them straight to the outlets. SMH at Nike trying to pass b-grade shoes to us at $175 (after tax).

We're paying top dollar for these retro releases. I don't expect a super premium product but there are minimal workmanship expectations that we as consumers should demand. I know nothing will change until we stop buying the product. I think it's funny JB's tag line is "Quality Inspired by the Greatest Player Ever." We all know that ship has sail.

I said this earlier in the thread, but the Jordan heads think a sneakerhead and a jordanhead are the same thing. These guys were in denial. They practically claimed everyone would get the Fire Reds and EVERYONE would skip the Lebron 9, Kobe 7, Hyperdunk, and Hyperfuses that dropped that day. Despite ALL being some of the most popular shoes out there today. |I Not to mention the less popular Flight '89s had a fireberry colorway and an all gray colorway dropping this month and the Charcoals coming out a month later.

I couldnt believe there are people who are such beast that they think that there is only one model of shoe worth getting.

That sounds like great news to me, mine should arrive Tuesday.
Hopefully the new batch from Nike is of decent quality compared to the old batch. They better not magically become TTS. I went a half size down on the pair I am returning and it was still too big (but not an entire half size too big). So this one I got a whole size down. Prolly just me but I like my shoes too tight :pimp: Ideally there should be NO room between my toes and the tip of the toebox
 
Finally got my shipping confirmation on the restock from FNL today, but there are double pending charges on my credit card :smh:, hope the pair comes in alright, can't complain much since I used the $20 off winner circle on these.
 
My pair also had bad quality. came with a deeper pre crease then my military blues. Probally wear once for when college starts up and back to closet lol.
 
Wore my less than savory pair last night, didn't walk that much but to my ride, then to dinner with my wife. They don't crease as much as they instantly WRINKLE... These are going in my "Wear to places where they can get beat on" stack. I don't know if i'm keeping my 2nd pair, that's the pair that came without any creases, stains, etc. These babies wrinkle up just from driving. But whatever, shoes are made to be worn. And I'ma wear these doggies out.

Bro I never complain about quality unless it's really bad, and these are really bad. To be content with this product is like ordering a medium rare 35.00 filet, it coming out well done and you electing to eat it. This thread is about shoes and if I'm not happy with my pair, I WILL let everyone know about it. Watch DJDelz or Sneakgeekz video reviews if you don't want a realistic depiction.
