Yeah the DVST8s are a pretty underrated shoe. I always thought they were dope. These were my favorite colorway of them besides the black and red.

This might be the greatest thread in all of Niketalk. Thanks SO much, OP. I will not be getting a shred of work done today. It's going to be a full day of ebaying for some of these kicks.
Some of them are shoes that I NEVER thought I'd see again...back before sneaker names meant anything to me, I or some of my friends had some of these shoes...but you, we just called them, "the nikes with the straps", etc.

When I first went to my friends and he showed me his stash I nearly fell over. I was bouncing all over the place like Holy Sh*t Look at these and Holy Sh*t look at these! Funny you mentioned calling them "the Nikes with the straps" because that is how me and most of my friends would describe any Nike with a strap back in the day until someone finally said their actual name. They are sick! I can't believe Nike only made them in kids sizes. I want them in a size 11 BADLY!Them Blazers though craziest shoe ive ever seen respect!
No doubt. I'm always putting up new stuff so keep an eye out especially for other brands other then Nike. I've recently sold a bunch of the OG Adidas Mutombos. The retro is supposed to release soon but the cws are wack in my opinion.
Yeah the uppers on the vintage kicks are so nice and durable. None of this new stuff can compare to them. If only the soles and midsoles held up as well.

The Phoenix colourway was my first ever basketball boot, as a 9 year old. Any idea what size they are? I hope these get retroed.

I sold both of these already but I think I have another pair in the Phoenix colorway. I'm not sure of the size off hand but I think they were smaller.
