***Official Tattoo Thread: Inked-4-Life Vol.2***

Isn't there another tattoo show on FX? I think it's starting again soon :nerd:
I think that show is kinda stupid. Giving them a time limit doesn't allow the artist to do their best and the client's are getting unfinished tattoos that don't get the proper time to be worked on. This isn't a cooking show where it's no big deal if the meal isn't finished. I'm sure Dave Navarro is very knowledgeable but i'm not a fan of the tattoos he has. Chris Nunez is a judge but I remember not liking much of his work on Miami Ink.

Speaking of Valerie Vargas. She works at Frith Street Tattoo in London and while looking that up, it seems Rhianna got tattooed there a couple of days ago.

Then ironically Chris Brown got a tattoo at the same spot. Dude continues to get really dumb tattoos:

Instagram Akumashugi for Japanese tattoos. The dude is white but his work is crazy! Looks airbrushed. I've been looking at tattoo magazines before the internet since I was a kid and I've never been so amazed before. I can't post pics because I'm on an ipad.

Dude is Cool. Has a very delicate look. Very feminine looking but nothing that a guy can't get......if that makes sense. I think his drawings are better then his tattoos though.

CB's native wolf tattoo was pretty cool. Not the greatest art, but still good nonetheless. His neck tattoo is a mess, terrible artwork, design, and execution.

The jet tattoo...its just an awkward placement. The design and artwork isnt bad, but the hell is this guy thinking.

i want to get a tat, but knowing how insanely fickle I can be, i figure i need to get a press-on tat and walk around with it for a few days to see how i feel about it

That's actually not a totally bad idea. I was told to get a drawing of a tattoo piece and stick it in my pocket where ever I go. If after a while you still like it, it might be worth tattooing. Also and this is just from my experience, there will be neglect not after your first tattoo but the 2nd one. The first tattoo for whatever reason will always get the most critical response from yourself. I think hype is built so high that it will not exceed your expectations. And as you learn more about tattoos, you will develope regret in wishing you had done it another way or took a different approach. By the 2nd tattoo, you will not give crap so much about the first tattoo and there begins the addiction of just getting tattooed.

Great idea. I had my left arm sleeve drawing that I did sitting on my office desk for over a year before I decided to start work on it.

Have always appreciated intricate artwork in the tattoo realm. Back in HS, wanted something to represent my personality, character, and heritage. Parents never went for it and I've abandoned the thought ever since.

Jun Cha is one of my favorites. A Portuguese buddy of mine is also very talented in tattoo design, obviously I'm slightly biased. But appreciated his and others' talent regardless.

Looks dope. However, I would never recommend so much dark/shade in a tattoo because 10+ years from now all that black will turn to smudge.
oh man! Well.. it doesnt look THAT dark. That pic was taken was it was more new. Hope it stays good

rihanna and chris brown are like two peas in a pod. Both get some of the dumbest tattoos.

Im aware of Randy's shop. His work has been inconsistent in my eyes but ill definitely look into Yatta.
