That's what everyone who attended the launch event is stating. I don't see how a $40 increase is even realistically possible after low sales and them not using leather anymore. When the Wow 3 Lite's were at $135, I thought these would be heading towards a lower price point that would attract the average person who might of not otherwise been interested.

Me too. Good thing Sunlight Station still tons of colorways from every model to pick from. They mentioned that there will be 18 colorways of the WoW 4 and the price will vary by pair. I figured a higher price point would be for the special edition ones, but $190 for the base model teal mesh launch pair? That's just asking to lose customers. You knew when the shoe comes out in a few days and the company didn't want to announce a price that something was going on. I'm a huge fan of the WoW line, but I feel like Wade and Li-Ning are definitely making some questionable decisions as of late.Man that ish is crazy. All those companies are playing a very dangerous game, that is a price normally reserved for the most hyped models and we witnessed that some JB retros sat and are still sitting because of that. What makes Li-Ning think that they can sell plastic materials shoe for $190? I am rally confused.

No freaking clue what they are thinking. I mean we have seen some models of the 2.0 and 3.0 differ in price points depending on CW and materials. But $150 was always the norm. Now right out of the gate they have a $40 hike?? Even if I was digging the 4 like that...$40 is tough to chew off the bat.

$190 because it's limited? What about the GRs? Eh some can be had cheaper towards the end of the model run. Not pressed to get a pair while I'm still holding out on the sale of the 3s.

I'm still really surprised the 3's never went on sale. What happens to all that inventory? Glad Sunlight Station still has older pairs available.

I am surprised with as much control that Wade has, and how he is involved in social media and the with the fans, that he's made some of these decisions.

They are a company that released their best CW's of the 3.0's to resellers (and I'm not mad at TeamWoW, I bought a pair, I just think Li-Ning are bungling it).

It is a joke that they never release any of the good color ways and just post them all over Instagram, but the blame has to be placed on Wade, not just Li-Ning.

I don't think they didn't release any good CW's, but if you could only get the TNS, White Stingwade, Beijing Toeshred, and Birthday through a resale group, something is wrong, whether that's Li-Ning or Wade/Li-Ning.

Yeah there was a time where "WoW Family" was actually a real thing. I'll gladly oop anyone I can if and when I can, but the Miami contingent reeeaaalllllyyyy keeping it tight to themselves down there. Is what it is.

Product wouldn't sit if they had sales more often. Not many other retailers keep items at full price for months and years.
