2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

Another average season????
If our 2012-2013 season was average then what do you call the past 10 years of Miami football?? Ya'll left the Big East and ain't been relevant since, sitchoassdown.

Why you stop at 10 wit yo dumb ***?

I could go back 35 with your worthless team, ain't nothin but the same ol 9-2. Our recent down years don't take away the previous 15 breh. You ain't eem got that.

So take your own advice and sit your *** somewhere and die like all your mascots do.

So the way I read it RSJ committed to UT for 300k, turned down 600k from Clemson or Ole Miss, decommited from UT to play for A&M for free.

Seems legit.
Wait, how'd Clemson get thrown in the mix?

This story was the first I've heard of the kid and I'm not in any way acting like we don't cheat too but I looked him up in articles and didn't see a single mention of Clemson. I'm sure he got an offer but I find it hard to believe he got offered that kind of cash or anything major if he never even looked at Clemson, it doesn't make sense.

I asked earlier not even pertaining to Clemson in this situation but most of the stories I've heard were where the kid's family or handler brought up some kind of conversation about it or a local booster help guide them along. Why would that kind of money even be mentioned if the parents were above it...like what benefit would there be to a school if no amount of money would entice them to get the kid to sign? Aside from the obvious that pops could be lying.
lighten up my man, you need to learn like tmay did just cause you see your school name don't mean you have to run and defend it when someone is joking around

Uhhh...I'm okay over here and I wasn't "defending" Clemson, it was just a question. If it had been about Nkemdiche or whoever that I knew was recruited by Clemson, I wouldn't have even been surprised or asked. And the second part of it I was just wondering in general.

I'm surprised you can even read so the fact that your reading comprehension is awful is expected.

It's like giving Andre Smith a 4-second head start in a race against Usain Bolt.

@billyliucci: Latest on Manziel? Per sources, he'll be suspended for first half of season-opener vs. Rice.

 at suspended for the first half.

College sports is so fun. Spend 3 years hovering over a school, absolve itself within a few weeks, suspend a whole season for having lunch, but absolve another kid for getting suitcases of money, while not allowing free tattoos, but looking the other way during rapes.

NCAA is the mob. Gotta be.

dude, billy luicci is a certified creep bruh. he's in his 30s, and heads out to the bars looking stone sober late at night smh. i see him trying to get at these young girls man :smh:

Half a game?

I'd tell the NCAA to eff off with that ****

Now the question is do you play Johnny in the second half if you build up a good lead in the first?

Why does the NCAA even investigate to being with? Without subpoena power they're a toothless organization.

So is it all over for Manziel or is the NCAA gonna suspend him later in the year?
Supposedly closes the book on the investigation. Not to say they can't come back later if they end up getting new stuff on the matter. But let's remember they had absolutely no proof, so half a game is still half a game too much. (And before y'all say anything, I don't doubt for a second that he probably did get paid for those signings, but the NCAA found zero proof of it.)
