Oregon state doesn't compare to a Florida defense or bama defense or LSU defense. Espically since they just Gave up 40+ against eastern Washington

But you made up stats. Mariota didnt just break the Sec yardage record and didnt just lead the sec in rushing. he plays in the pac12. You are trolling heavy... here are their real stats:

The pac 12 isnt a comparable conference. The sec has HALF of the top 12 in the country. HALF. Manziel dominated that conference and then went on to dominate Oklahoma by setting the damn yardage record in the cotton bowl. Its not an argument. You are wrong. Admit it and move on. I like Mariota on the next level much more than Manziel. Not high on McCarron, Boyd, Murray, or Miller on the NFL level too.
As a Miami fan am not that high Stephen Morris he's good but I don't see anything special hopefully he proves me wrong.

Good QB's in general.. Look at the talent level of QB's over the pass few years.. Theres QB's getting cut left and right. I remember a time when teams could not find a good QB for anything.. Now they seem to be a dime a dozen..

manziel's games against teams that finished ranked in top 25 at the end of the year. Alabama, Florida, LSU, OklahomaPlease tell me how those other 9 teams were power houses

Manziel didn't dazzle against the Gators, and looked even worse against LSU.
It's clear Johnny had the best season in college football for 2012, among QB's or otherwise, but I'm of the belief that Mariota is a better pro at the next level.

I live in Pac 12 Country and I think Johnny Football is better but not that much. The ESPN hype machine on is getting to Tebow level of annoyance
