2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

So the UT running back is stripped, Iowa State defensive player has the ball and has run 5 yards before the whistle blown. The RB was ruled down by contact and his knee never touched the ground....

Oh ok. What a joke. What's the point of replay if you can't get the call right?

UT has more fans and alumni than Iowa State, meaning more money

Danielson is usually unbiased.

He gets paid by CBS to call SEC games.

Herbie is a homer to Big 10 sometimes, its their job to hype up the conference they call

So your RB's don't get destroyed. If you have a top QB you shouldn't have to worry. When Saban had a top QB he was throwing the ball. He knows AJ is average at best
No, he knows he has a stable of work horse RBs..that can eat up lines and clock and if one get hurt he can easily plug in another one ...same with Georgia...Murray only has 2 games of 30+ pass attempts...
Wait a got damn minute dawg, don't EVER put AJ in Murrays class...EVER. Or any Bama QB for that matter. Murray bout to smash every SEC passing record whilst having to throw to walk-ons and make every read behind a very inconsistent O-Line. Sure Murray makes some dickhead mistakes but he's asked to do much much more than camp out behind a dominant O-Line and manage the game like AJ. AJ has had Trent Richardson, Eddie Lacy & TJ Yeldon. Murray has had Washaun Ealy/Caleb King, Isaiah Hurtwell, and finally Todd Gurley/Keith Marshall. No comparison.

Whoever said Ken Dorsey, nailed it.

Question a friend posed to me today (that I don't necessarily agree with but figured I'd bring here):

"What makes the SEC the best conference in football?  It used to be all about how big and fast their players are and how awesome their defenses are.  Well, they don't have faster players anymore (oregon, ohio state, baylor, clemson) and they're not necessarily any bigger than a Wisconsin or K State or Stanford, and across the board in the SEC it's looking like 'what defense?'

So, really, why are they considered the undisputed best?"

Because they are the deepest conference from top to bottom. Doesn't mean there aren't teams in other conferences that can't beat their best teams though. I could easily see Oregon or Clemson beating whoever wins the SEC this year.

No you can't.

Yeah because your opinion isn't biased or anything.

Whats the difference between Murray and AJ? Or Murray and Greg McElroy?

Murray is a good college qb thats it, he will be just like David Greene hold a clip board for a few years.

Mettenberger is a better prospect than Murray

Listen Gator, what would you know about Quarterbacks?? You obviously haven't watched many Bama or UGA games over these guys careers...and the hell does Mettenberger being a better prospect have to do with anything? Yes, Mett has a rocket arm, but so did Jamarcus Russell. Metts football IQ is not up to par with Murray or McCarrons. They'll all be holding clipboards on the next level at the end of the day sooo...

Mobile QB's always have a leg up over stationary QB's but Tajh's ceiling is Daunte Culpepper IYAM. Murray better than all those boys. Jameis looks damn good but I wanna see him against some competition (imagine that

)/facing adverse situations.

There's a few 2nd string QB's in the SEC >>> Logan
