Official Nike Zoom Revis 1 CAMO EXT Friday!

FSR on Citygear.com still. I'm sure the poor sales have to do with the fact Revis was hurt basically all of last year? His invisibility kind of died with the injury...

Think about it, if Calvin Johnson got hurt last yr and Revis didn't do u think you see CJ81 gear covering the Internet of course not.. If dude didn't go down last yr , his sig would've gotten tons of love. Nike see this shoe as a slow burn shoe, it has a base and they see that they will sellout with a limited edition. I would be more worried if the denims were not moving at all, and if these were not moving. Back when Vick had a sig, I don't exactly remember seeing those fly off the shelves.

On citygear everything from sz11 down is soldout

was able to cop a 15 on NDC pretty easily and I was about a minute late because I didnt scroll down to see it under new releases. Anybody know if any of the outlets in the Chicago area have any colors in a 15?
 
Another note: The decision was from a retailer standpoint. Retailers complained that they were forced to take on so many orders and colors of the sneaker and they didn't sell well. While Nike didn't give them the limited versions to make up for the overstock pairs. As well as Revis leaving New York market. Verbatim from what I was told by the rep. what do I know Im a Troll. (whatever that means. )

I posted this a week or two ago and it applies directly to this convo:


"I honestly don't know what this means for the ZR2. He's been out of the spotlight for a year, traded to a lower profile team, coming back from an injury...

I hope he bounces back as the same player he was and even better, but if he doesn't I seriously think we have seen the last of the Zoom Revis.

If his shoes are hitting outlet shelves in massive numbers and being sold for $39.99, I'm pretty sure that might be the end of the line, a sort of "one hit wonder"

I just thought about this now but how can Nike bounce back and sell a second ZR2 model for $140 retail after everyone saw how fast these hit outlet shelves and how low they dropped?! It doesn't seem feasible. Unless the drastically cut production #'s and CW's and start a massive hype campaign, I don't see the ZR2 making massive waves. I mean even in the past, how many pro football players have had numerous models released of their signature shoe?

I just can't see them throwing up a second model for $140 and people going ham over them when these hit outlets like they did.

I bought all my pairs and doubled up because I assumed these were much more limited than they were going to be.

I honestly think they were initially planned to be limited CW's and production, because look at the all the initial releases like the Firs and Volts, all pairs so out... These couldn't be found ANYWHERE. Then it seems like after his injury and being traded Nike said "**** it" and started mass production restocking all CW's in massive #'s whoring them out for every dollar they can get, riding the hype for what it's worth until it runs dry."


I also heard rumors a second model is in design, but that doesn't mean they will produce them. I can't see Nike making a second run when the ZR1's are selling for $40 in outlets. They can't charge $140 for a ZR2. I think we have seen the end gentleman. I hope not, I love this sig.

Late to the game, but got the jets color zoom revis at the outlets in Riverhead, NY for 39.99 and 30% off. I slept on these. May have to head to the jersey outlets and try my luck.
 
done a little research online, and there are no sz12,5 camos for sale

It was a pretty easy cop all said and done, specially if u were a member of this thread. Willowbrook still has sizes left. I'm probably going down there tomorrow. They don't have 10-10.5-11-11.5 tho as of yesterday. 21 Mercer probably has pairs also.
 
did anyone try to hit call nike and do a find on the camos? thats usually my first resort after I've hit my usual spots.

usually after sz12 stores only carry whole sizes. never went to a store because i was able to get my pair, but i tried for it at 8:02 and got the sold out message, just seems like a some what rare size. happy either way, rare or not, and happy everyone was able to get theirs
 
Camos were an easy pass for me, hopefully everyone that wanted was able to cop

Neway looks like thats it for the ZR1....still mad disappointed the silver neons will nvr release
