Didn't have any cooked rice so I ate Filipino beef stew with some mac & cheese from Costco. Crack in a bowl.

Caldereta?

Nowadays I find myself skipping the rice with my ulam and it pisses my grandma off. She swears any meal without rice is just a snack.

so to the person who hasn't tried Lechon yet... if you're in the SoCal area, it is my responsibility to invite you to our next "milestone" family party.

The beef stew looks official! Looks like Vietnamese bo kho. My Filipino go to is Jollie Bees, lechon, & the GOAT crispy pata.

From the past few days

My dad's favorite Chinese spot reopened recently after a few months of being renovated. Food is pretty good and it's cheap. For some reason the lighting really messed with the white balance of my pics. Tried my best to deal with it on my phone but they still look a bit off.

Everything came out to about $30 including tip. I'm pretty sure that's the main reason my dad loves this place lol

Then hit up a bakery afterwards and bought random baked goods

Say what?

Been terrible about taking pics. Hit In N Out + Free Range in LA. AAAAAAALL GOOOOOOOOD.

Blue Ribbon Sushi tonight for chicken and oxtail fried rice. Have some rice left so it might get up later.

Unfortunately not beer-flavored but chocolate, vanilla, and Irish creme. Still tasty though.

Ox tail fried rice sounds dope as hell though
