Bulls offseason Thread

I dont think he comes back for the playoffs. Sucks but i just dont see it happening.

I have already throw out the idea of us missing playoffs. We just play too hard and have too many good players . Im not mad at it though, i still root like we can win it all

But yea, i dont see many people that should be in over Jo. If we had s better record i would start the DPOY campaign. No foot problems so far this year either :pimp: (crosses fingers). I was a huge fan of Jo's before but these last two years, hes become one of my fav players by far.

Yea they put an article out there they think his foot problem are a thing off the past, they detailed his day to procedure to keep the foot problems away.

DJ was so bad in Indy couple years ago. He's played well and is a real asset.

Jo should be a lock as ASG reserve. But they did remove C position and just have forwards now

Snell is way better than I expected

Butler really took a step back offensively. He needs to simplify his game and have a couple go to moves/spots. So athletic but can't take anyone off the dribble

ANY CHANCE rose returns for the playoffs?

I think the turf toe is affecting him more than he's letting on. Granted he still needs work on attacking off the bounce but since he's also been getting torched on defense, I really think the toe is an issue.

JO should be an AS(submitted my twitter vote btw). Everyone forgets that DJ played well in Charlotte I was surprised that they let him go. I think the Indy system wasnt a good fit for him. Lets GO Bulls this team has a lot of heart

The end of an era.

It's been real, Marquis Teague. The Bulls traded their first round pick in the 2012 draft on Saturday, sending the 20-year-old point guard to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for 22-year-old forward Toko Shengelia. It's a move that saves money next season, as Shengelia will be a restricted free agent. It wouldn't be a surprise if the Bulls did not extend him a qualifying offer.

Shengelia has spent most of the last two years playing in the D-League. He's 6'9, 220 lbs. and was taken with the No. 54 pick in the 2012 draft. His D-League stats are fairly impressive:

758254

I've written a lot about Teague and am glad I don't have to write about him anymore. He's a young guy and very well may have a good pro career. It's going to take a lot of patience, though. The Bulls decided they don't have it.

January's looking great for the Bullies so far:

1. Winning 8 out of 10
2. DJ's balling
3. Kirk will be out "for a while"

:smokin

City, this is strictly my opinion but as long as Kirk is not playing I am ok with Mike James...I think. That just means more time for DJ.

Yes, my bad for not recognizing Jo and Tony. Jo is going to the ASG. Tony's got some good signs on him. He's got a pure shooter's mechanics and release. He just needs more practice and experience on the court. I already think he's got a better handle than Jimmy and can do more things off the bounce.

Honestly, the Wiz look pretty decent. That's a nice, young team and Otto Porter isn't even doing anything for them right now.

Having turf toe will suck all season, but I hope Jimmy's shots start going down more.

Oh, and best of luck to Teague. I do hope he can rescue his NBA career.

i know you dont believe the last line you typed

maybe this could mean more cartier time too because jimmy needs to rest , that TT aint right yet & hes just playing because were short handed

tony does have better handles than jimmy & hes clamed down so he should get more tik also during this kirk-less time ...& boozys out again too

 ok, you got me. there's always re-training to be an NFL DB for him.

I forgot about Cartier. He had one good game off the bench then promptly didn't get minutes. I'm with you, I hope he gets more time now too.

Booz can take his time. I want to see Taj get used to more minutes especially since I think he'll start next season.

cartier played 2 games but once tony saw what he was doing (running the floor, playing d & shooting every shot he had...in addition to taking his minutes) tony mirrored it & cartier hasnt seen the floor since

booz sees the writing on the wall , he know its Taj's starting job to lose & he wont

wonder if Shengelia will suit up tonight

Toko Shengelia
"This team is big on energy & i can add more. I'm a real energy guy. I can help on defense, run the floor."

im sure if he can play a lick of defense thibs will toss him in tonight
