You really sound like some of his surrogates that are always trying to correct or clarify something that he says.

He's exhibited constant intolerance, bigotry, misogyny, and downright ignorance and violence. For you to sit there and not acknowledge it or somehow say imply it's not a big deal because he's some faux outsider and brilliant businessman (which has been debunked multiple times) is downright naïve. Just so you know social and economic issues are intertwined, you can't separate them in some kind of fantasy land that doesn't exist.

What if I told you that you could get out of your headspace and stop debating this "liberal" and be objective? Calling yourself a progressive today also means you're saying you are a liberal. I'm not hiding that I believe in social justice ( and equality), and Keynesian economics. And for America to set itself on the path to quickly move toward social democracy. These are beliefs, and if that makes me a liberal, then I own that.

And the terms get mixed. Being a liberal on social issues means you align with Dems, being liberal on economic issues means you align with the GOP.

And even then a "liberal" comes in all varieties because since liberal have to form coalitions.
