I've realize the most outspoken Dominican a lot of you have interacted with is a racist Trump supporter, so I can't eem blame ya, but as I said before he don't represent the vast majority of the good people of DR.

nah, u definitely run into them. but in public their tail is tucked and that screen shield is missing so they act humble. but soon as they make it back in the house and close the front door, their inner "alternate" self comes out

Im going to disagree with that
The majority of them are silent in public and really only reveal their true feelings in private or on social media.
Trust me, I live in a family that is mostly Republican and has republican friends, they say those Fox News talking points, but act differently when they make business deals with the same groups they harbor some prejudice against.
And these interactions I have had aren't mostly white people either. They just see themselves as being a "pure American"

All I'm saying is that I don't have to worry about them having major political influence in our state, especially on social issues. Yes, they're out there, but they're outnumbered. Electing a know nothing Republican celebrity like Schwarzenegger was a wake up call for California, but unfortunately the rest of the country didn't learn from our mistake I will give him some credit for becoming more moderate throughout his political career, but still, he was overall terrible as a governor.

Which reminds me, I remember the rest of the country straight up bashing California for electing a celebrity with 0 political experience. Funny how the same people bashing us have turned in 2017
