Never understood why people thought this show was funny. To me it seemed like an early PG-13 always sunny in philadelphia rip off. I saw a couple of episodes and was surprised like probably the wayans dude that it got picked up. NT usually doesn't let me down so i'll give it a chance again and watch the "kickball" episode.
 
At first I thought it was just a rip off New Girl.

Now I like it better than New Girl.

Always Sunny is more like a rated R version of Seinfeld. They don't learn any lessons, they're generally awful people, and terrible friends to each other. The characters on Happy Endings are better friends and while it's not a heartwarming family sitcom, it has more genuine moments than Always Sunny.

It's funny because they pack in more jokes per minute than any other show on TV. Pop cultural references, meta humor, pratfalls, sexual innuendo (which is impressive since it's on network TV), clever word play, etc.
 
With that said, another great episode. Every character had some great laugh out loud moments

Penny had a lot of great moments without tons of focus on her this episode. Her "yes and yes and yes" while she watched Max dance, texting with the 13 year old kid and sending him pictures, and she was ready to flash a bunch of teenagers in a dark closet

Dave, who usually isn't the funniest, absolutely killed me with his fakeout of the cop then his trip. 

Jane's role playing as a cop, the flight attendant outfit and her "that only makes me stronger"... the buzz bank (and she said something about buzzing one out in a previous episode)

Alex looking GOOD in her painting outfit, "where we're going we don't need clothes", when Dave sees the condoms "They're for your penis"

Max and Brad are always great together, so giving them an episode like this was perfect
 
i finished dling the first 2 seasons...
i'm watching ep one, the girl that left the dude at the alter is that jack bauers daughter? :nerd:

The gang spends Thanksgiving dinner at Alex and Dave's new place where Dave is determined to share a real Navajo Thanksgiving. When Max pulls up a copy of the lost season of "The Real World", everyone starts reminiscing about how they all met ten years ago.

My favorite show on tv. Seen every episode, started watching it from the beginning. I'm in love with Elisha Cuthbert

Penny damn near jumped to #1 after that Season 2 Finale, she was BANGING in those leggings and heels during that kick ball game.


Greatest show on TV right now and the cast chemistry rivals that of Modern Family and season 1-6 of The Office, AWESOME SHOW!

I'd take Penny down any day. She was looking beautiful on Conan one night last week. Smash all the females on the show really.

That marriage is so weird :lol: They be going hard on that role play, the flight attendant scene where she was cooking up that plan had me. Then Jane eating that taser "It only makes me stronger" :rofl:

Penny indulging them preteen Jewish boys :evil:
