Is this series going to follow the Dark Jedi saga? If so, Luke is supposed to be Godlike in his Jedi abilities and skills by then and hopefully they showcase that.

Nah, the movie will be based on nothing but the movies, cartoons, and the books /material released from September of 2014 onward.
Luke is supposedly Godlike w/his powers in this tho.
People are guessing right now that Serkis is the head Sith (the emperor of the saga) and Driver will be the 'Vader'. The voice of the trailer has been confirmed as Serkis.

Not sure. People are guessing that Serkis could be a Sith just based on the fact that he's the voice of the teaser, and his role in TFA is supposed to not include much screen time, yet be vital to the plot and trilogy. It's all a bunch of rumors so no one knows what is and isn't true.
FWIW, the same site that had the exact rundown of the teaser trailer over two weeks ago, is the site that ran 'that' rumor.
