@#$% YOU KAREEM RUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I aint happy bout the Martin signing. 7.5 million a year for 4 years to a 30 year old who cant guard his own shadow.
Could've got Mayo for that money. He's younger at least.

If the 4th year is an option I like the Martin signing better. He's been declining but he's an upgrade for this team right now and better yet he is an Adelman guy.

Chase also signing is a good thing. I don't think they are done either, I still see a PG being moved and yes I completely agree the playoffs are the goal now even if it's the 8th seed and spanked in the first round. It has to happen.

No matter what happens though this offseason I personally need to see this play out, as this franchise has had nothing but player after player sitting on the bench in street clothes since Adelman has arrived and this has to change more so than anything going on in this organization right now.

JJ Barea has missed 33 of 148 games the last two seasons (23%)
Nikola Pekovic has missed 39 of 148 games the last two seasons (26%)
Andrei Kirilenko missed 18 of 82 games last season (28%)
Ricky Rubio has missed 50 of 148 games the last two seasons (34%)
Kevin Love has missed 75 of 148 games the last two seasons (51%)
Chase Budinger missed 59 of 82 games last season (72%)

Bench players Malcolm Lee, Josh Howard, and Brandon Roy all provided nothing last year because of injuries. Kevin Martin has missed 121 games in his last 6 seasons.

As a fan I am praying for health for this team next year just to see this team play together one time.

I think Mayo would have chosen elsewhere cause he's gonna get similar offers from I'm sure a decent amount of teams.. And yes playoffs just make it to the playoffs and have a healthy season is all we ask

What I like is that Martin may be cheaper than Mayo, but also, they're not waiting around and hoping for him to choose Minnesota. They're going straight after a need and took a very viable option to fill that void.

What makes me nervous is that while Martin can put up points on any given night with the best of them, he's a complete wuss ball and cannot play D.

Which one of these wins out in his tenure here is going to be a huge factor into whether this team can push for relevancy among the WC's best. Love, Rubio, Martin and Pek is a very strong core of talent. Continue to shape around that this offseason and they WILL be back into the playoffs in 2014.

Here is how many total games our possible Big 3 - Love, Rubio, Pek - has played together on the same floor in the last two seasons :x

2012-13 - 3 games out of 82
2011-12 - 26 games out of 66

Pek Love and Rubio have played together as a group 29 games out of a possible 148.

Again, forget Flip working roster magic and let's focus on the core here and what our record possibilities could be with health.

Most of the games that Big 3 played together Rubio wasn't himself too.

Got a bar at the cab....

I hate these white jersey's man. The blue and black ones (especially the black ones) are nice. But the whites are bland and boring as it gets.

They should have never taken out the green.

According to Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune, the Wolves submitted a formal offer of at least four years and $48 million to Pekovic through his agent.

The Wolves made an offer to Pekovic on Friday and expect to receive a response early this week.

On Sunday, they waived center Greg Stiemsma and swingman Mickael Gelabale in two salary-cap moves designed to clear space to allow them to sign free agents Kevin Martin and Chase Budinger as well as bring back Pekovic on a four-year deal that likely will be worth $12 million a year or more.

Corey Brewer, Timberwolves discussing possibility of a reunion

It has been two years since Corey Brewer was last seen in a Minnesota Timberwolves jersey, but a reunion between the two could be a possibility.

Brewer and the Wolves have both expressed interest in bringing the 6-foot-9 free agent forward back to Minnesota, a source with direct knowledge to the situation told KSTP-TV producer and 1500ESPN.com contributor Darren Wolfson.

The Wolves' salary cap situation is fluid, making it unclear if the two sides would be able to work out a deal. But conversations about a potential deal have been held.

The Minnesota Timberwolves Summer League team will include first-round draft picks Shabazz Muhammad (14th overall) and Gorgui Dieng (21st overall), as well as Wolves forward Chris Johnson and former Illinois guard Brandon Paul.

The squad, which will be coached by David Adelman and Shawn Respert, will open its five-game schedule July 13 against the NBA D-League Select team at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Here's the Wolves' complete roster for the Summer League:

22 Marqus Blakely, guard-forward, 6-5, 225, San Mig Coffee (Philippines)
4 Lorenzo Brown, guard, 6-5, 189, North Carolina State
8 Kee Kee Clark guard, 5-11, 185, Umana Venezia Reyer (Italy)
5 Gorgui Dieng, center, 6-11, 230, Louisville
23 John Holland, guard, 6-5, 205, Cajasol (Spain)
6 Robbie Hummel, forward, 6-8, 215, Blusens Monbus (Spain)
12 Othyus Jeffers, guard, 6-5, 210, Iowa (NBDL)
3 Chris Johnson, forward, 6-11, 210, Louisiana State
40 Phil Jones, center, 6-10, 255, Los Angeles (NBDL)
44 Solomon Jones, forward, 6-10, 245, Liaoning (China)
30 Demitri McCamey, guard, 6-3, 201, Fort Wayne (NBDL)
15 Shabazz Muhammad, forward, 6-6, 222, UCLA
33 Brandon Paul, guard, 6-4, 200, Illinois
43 Luke Sikma, forward, 6-8, 235, Autocid Ford Burgos (Spain)
24 Mychel Thompson, forward, 6-8, 215, Sioux Falls (NBDL)

McCamey, Paul, Hummel, Dieng, Bazz, Zo Brown.

NCAA All-Stars, COMIN AT CHA!

I'm would be okay with a possible Corey Brewer-to-Wolves reunion tour. While I think he never was the defensive player people believed, nor did he ever live up to his defensive potential, but he had a very solid season with the Denver Nuggets in 2012-13. And somehow he's still only 27, and will be so for most of the next season. His turnover percentage (turnovers per 100 minutes) has gone way down the past two season. And that's with increased playing time.

Count me on board. He'll help defensively, but don't expect a shutdown player. He's never been that, and he won't ever be. But depth and GOOD defense, **** yeah: we'll accept.

Welp....

On Tuesday, 1500 ESPN's Darren Wolfson reported the Wolves and swingman Corey Brewer had mutual interest in rekindling a relationship. According to ESPN.com, both sides are closing in on a three-year "in the $15 million range." It's possible a sign-and-trade could still be in play.

According to Yahoo! Sports, it appears Nikola Pekovic is on the verge of accepting a four-year, $50 million offer from the Wolves.

Wolves cap situation looks to be set and locked for the next few years, let's hope this Big 3 works...

I knew Dallas if they missed out of the big FA'a they would call for JJ. Who would we get? Or would it be cap space for a future pick?

To clarify, free agent guard Corey Brewer has agreed in principle to sign a 3-year, $15 million contract with Timberwolves, source told Y!
