Does it look bad to use a coupon for a first date?

I say you do it. Her reaction will gauge the kind of person she is. If she doesn't make a big deal of it, or cracks a harmless joke about it, then she's probably down to earth and you should keep her around. If she looks disgusted or insults you, drop her then and there because she's focused on the wrong thing. Chances are she's a stuck up or selfish broad and what you're seeing could very well be the tip of the iceberg.

Our generation has to rework the locked door test (word to a Bronx tale) the best way we can.
 
Hood rats love Red Lobster, when i take them they think im balling cause i didn't take them to ihop. (Jump-offs get ihop) :rolleyes

Now if its a shorty thats worth the time and effort we going to that little romantic cuban spot in the village.

if money is tight just order water and tell her you're on a see food diet but seriously i would just hit up a local joint on the first date and if things go well then take her to red lobster and use the coupon on the second date, make sure it's not expired

There's a difference between a concert and going out to eat though. Chances are you got the tickets by yourself before the event so she wouldn't care how you got them. Dont even go to dinner on the first. Go to a bar.
 
perfect. you can weed out the bad ones with this.

granted its red lobster so its nothing crazy to begin with but i never understand why waste money on some chick JUST TO GET OT KNOW HER.

if she hates you in 10 minutes your stuck in an hour long convo... with food you're not really enjoying.

as opposed to simple, walks, coffee, drinks, a quick bite.
 
I'd be more worried about the fact that you're going to Red Lobster than using the actual coupon.
 
I'd be more concerned with taking a first date to red lobster

Like others have said, Red Lobster isn't the greatest choice for a first date. You'd be better off hitting a local cafe or something easy like that.

Groupons are great for 1st dates.

I would say: Yo, I got a groupon for I want to check out. I want you to come with me to check it out.

I did that when I was in the dating scene and I still do it with my current girlfriend. Good way to find new places and eat new food on the cheap.
 
It all depends on if you're looking for something serious with this girl and what she's like.

1st problem is Red Lobster.
2nd problem is using a coupon...at Red Lobster...on your first date.

I kinda almost get people saying if she says something she's a diva or whatever but most females want to know you're making an extra effort and using a coupon...at Red Lobster...can make her feel like she's not worth much.

If you're just looking to get laid, go for it.
