New Orleans and Utah should just switch names. Utah is the Beehive State so Hornets is fitting.

Like i said in the NBA thread. I give it up to Stern and the NBA quite often.
Except when it comes to naming teams. Some of the worst and out of character names are part of the NBA. Memphis Grizzlies, Utah Jazz, etc.
Blame the Lakers for this mess. If they had changed their name when moving from MN, everyone else would have as well.

I'm not even joking. The Lakers started this. Minnesota should have kept the "Lakers" brand since they are the state of 10,000 Lakes. Los Angeles should have adopted another name. If Los Angeles did - Utah would have never continued the "Jazz" name. The NBA makes no senses hen it comes to naming teams. Started with the Lakers.
