It took a few wears, but I'm in love with Edition Blanche. Is there something with a similar creamy lemon vibe that hasn't been discontinued?

Same here, didn't like it at first but it's growing on me. Haven't gotten any compliments from the ladies on it yet though, say what you will about L'homme being synthetic but that joint goes with the women. A coworker of mine literally wants to eat me when I wear L'homme, ran into her the other day wearing edition blanche and she's like you smell good but not as good as you usually do  Think La'nuit is gonna be my next big bottle, want to try DHI too but it makes no sense copping living in a tropical climate.

I get a good amount of compliments when I wear Edition Blanche; my gf LOVED it the first time I sprayed it on

Anyone try Insurrection or M by Perry Ellis? I'm hearing they are the ultimate cheapies

Never smelled insurrection, but some have said it resembles aventus but less sillage and longevity. M by pe is pretty solid, all of the pe colognes smell solid to me and be found for great prices , I prefer the white and blue versions. Perry Ellis white was my scent junior year of college so many yambs wanted that smell on their clothes / pillow the next day

Bros , someone is giving me a bottle of dg cologne, would you go with the og or light blue version ?

If you are looking for something cheap with an Aventus vibe then Insurrection will work but if you expect Aventus for $20 then you will be extremely disappointed

I am not a fan of the D&G Light Blue at all; D&G's best currently in production scent is the The One IMO

Was in CVS and happened to look at what they had. Any of these worth a try?

Mont Blanc Legend
Burberry Touch
Burberry Brit
Givenchy Paris

Or I could go old man status with some Joop, Drakkar Noir, or something else

What's pour homme II smell like? overstock has it for a decent price.
Think black/green tea with some pepper in there. Slightly aquatic, slightly woodsy. extreeeeeeeeeemeeellyyy refreshing, i wanna drink it every time i throw it on.

reminds me of the rain to be honest, its my go to rainy day scent. its a masterpiece. plain and simple.

I would go Legend out of the ones you mentioned

Don't go old man style; every time I think of Drakkar those ads with Dale Earnhardt Jr. come to mind...catering to that Nascar crowd

First night at my new place, we were going out with my new roommates. this one dude got back from day drinking outside all day and we were ready to head to the city. i asked him if he wanted some cologne to freshen up. showed him aventus (which i would never give anyone since i dont like one of my homeboys smelling like me), la nuit, diesel only the brave, PH2, and pure discovery.

dude whips out drakkar noir and says ill just go with this instead smh

friendship would have come to an end at that moment

my one buddy is so weird with colognes; he will just buy a big name designer at TJ Maxx/Marshalls and wear it regardless of how it smells

He bought this one Burberry totally blind and wore it on his wedding day like it was his signature scent since childhood  :smh:

I feel like this is what most people do anyway
Maybe not exactly the same but I'm sure most people just go to Macy's and look for big names like gucci or versace and just buy a random one. Or just wear what's given to them as gifts

I remember this one dude always asked me about my cologne and I told him it was Creed Aventus. This is the type of dude who is spoiled, rich family, gets everything he wants.

Next day he says "Copped that new Versace Eros. Smells amazing" as if he was trying to one up since Versace is a designer name. I just giggled

I agree I think most dudes just cop a fragrance and go, working in retail showed me that. Dudes would come in and just cop anything and be super satisfied with it, I'm talking curve ecko drakkar halston :x I think those of us who are actually into cologne are a minority

Been rocking TdH the past few days...not really a fan of the opening. I think it's a bit TOO citrusy and in your face. However, the drydown is terrific. It's a very pleasant orange scent for the warmer weather.
