The V6s don't retain their value like the Hemis so your long term cost of ownership is probably better with the hemi. However as I'm finding out its easier to get a decent deal on a new rt than finding a decent used rt.

I've noticed that as well, great deals can be had on the brand new even loaded Chargers/Challengers no need to really search thru the used ones too hard.

The difference in gas mileage between the V6 and V8 isn't as great as you would think. I believe it's a 5-6 mpg difference. The auto's, which i have, have MDS which switches the engine to 4 Cylinders when your at cruising speed. The biggest difference between the two is the Torque. The first couple days I was chirping the tires in accident.

Also if your looking at a base R/T, it actually comes with quite a bit. Bluetooth, Sirius Radio, Keyless Entry, Push Button Start etc

this.  I have no knowledge of the specs, I just truly bang with the design.  However that 11 MPG with rims....

wow, that is bad. although it is a huge engine, so not too big of a surprise.

Yeah I'm copping the new one.

Hell a year from now it will be worth more than I owe.

why do you say that?

Based on the amortization table a year from now I'll owe around 25365.00

The KBB right now for a year old RT is more than that and I can't find a used 12 RT for that price private seller or dealer because if I could I would have bought it.

They won't be making the SRT8 Challenger and that's getting replaced with the Cuda.

2015 model year Challenger will get a redesign though.

Da cuda & challenger will be runnin parallel for a bit.

I hope that the SRT brand keeps tradition with N/A large displacement engines.
There is a crate 7.0L that I'm considering swapping my 6.1L with if the magnum doesn't make the new line up.

i heard that the barracuda was going to totally replace the challenger, not just the srt8 version...

i seen the older barracuda and some mockups...

looks kinda girlie to me, like a smaller challenger, or a mustang...

I know the Cuda is comming but if they change up the Challenger :x :x :x :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh:

Its all speculation at this point but from what I read they are going to keep making it but its going to go through a total redesign like the charger this year.

They making it lighter and faster to match the Stang and the Camaro.

Personally I'd love if they just stopped making them because the value would hold even more. Hell them G8 GTs still go for a decent price.
