Always wondered what the concensus is on this. Would you wear your SJs to a wedding? Do you wear them to go to fancy clubs in the city? Or is that a fashion no-no?

I wear my best Dress/Casual shoes.. I don't think basketball sneakers have a place in formal settings, but that's just me. i'm sure some people would

I ware my Jordan's to the gym, basketball court, or casual Fridays at work. Never in my life would I throw on gym shoes to a formal event.

fancy clubs heck no

more casual clubs i wear some jordan 1 phat all black that i got 4 yrs ago...i like those alot cause it looks like i have boots on

i dont like fancy dress up clubs, too stuffy for me so where i go i wear what i want and could give 2 poops what anyone thinks

I don't believe in wearing Jordan's to very classy events, however I would like to get my hands on those black tuxedo Jordan I for work.

I really hate most dress shoes though.

I'm getting married in 6 months. I am wearing dress shoes for the ceremony and Concords I have sitting on ice for the reception.

I sometimes wear the xi, xvi for a bit formal style. But when i wear business suit then i usually wear regular leather shoes.

I don't go to fancy clubs but i do wear J's to weddings.
I got married in the black/red XX3's.

i wore some jordans to a wedding last year......not sure what others thought.....don't think there were any other shoeheads there.

usually, my jordans are mostly for playing ball and fridays.

Doesnt matter because ur wedding is one of ur most special day in ur life and u should be able to wear what u like
But my most special day was when i carried my babygirl in my arms. It was so overwhelming i cannot remember what jordans i wore XD

Hell yeah I rock my **** to formal events. I have a pair of jays for any/every kind of event. For the formal, I stay away from more basketball looking numbers like 4,5,6 and I'll bring out some Bordeaux's, concords, aqua's, playoff 12's, flint 7's, the list goes on. It's really all about IF YOU COULD PULL IT OFF. By all means, I have also seen some atrocious formal outfits that included even a fresh *** pair of J's. You just really gotta do it right.

And as for my wedding....... I have a DS pair of Original 1995 Steel X's with the reverse jumpman FTW

Promised myself will never break em out until

Wore my carmines to graduation. Thats pretty much it. Depending on the dress codes for the clubs, I dress accordingly.

I pretty much only wear my Jordan's on the weekend while I'm running errands. I wont really wear them to places where there will be a lot of partying and a lot of people in a small place. I don't my shoes to get trashed just because I got trashed. But to formal events I wouldn't wear them.

Because I pretty much work during the week, I only wear my Jordans on the weekends.

Ya know, movies, mall, running around with the wife.

Nothing special.

However, I do have to match my kicks with my outfit.

A little OCD.
