The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I wonder if any GameStop's near me will have that white PS4 bundle in stock.

I have a bunch of crap to trade in, been out of the gaming loop for a while,

Destiny seems cool, tho.

Also I really do hate the fact the people hitting level 20 on day one ...I thought Bungie said they will make leveling up harder ...cats running around PvP with legendary gear. :smh:
Unless your playing in iron banner, the guns and armor will be scaled

People on metacritic are BASHING Destiny. My goodness. I'm enjoying it though.

People that hate any game that isn't COD.

Someone said lazy voices? Voice work seems decent to me. Damn does everyone expect them to be all " HELLO GUARDIAN! DO THIS GUARDIAN!!! DO THAT GUARDIAN!!!" And Dinklage is playing a robot. He's doing a good job to me

Anybody else codes not work

My 30 days didn't work nor did the code for the gear in the box :smh: said invalid or some ****

I finally got a chance to play Destiny last night. Once I realized you had to do all the beta stuff, I did two missions and went to sleep. I was tired as hell and wasn't too happy about doing the beta stuff all over again. I am definitely looking forward to going in this weekend though.

Same.. Not only did I do it in the beta I did it in the alpha as well.

I'm about to jump to the moon soon and thats all new to me so I'm looking forward to that.

My codes went through, but I had to Restore my Licenses on my ps4 before I could access like the vanguard armory and stuff.

on your PS4 go to Settings > PSN > Restore Licenses

A lot of the dialogue for Tyrion seems forced and unnecessary, especially when its doing something talking to itself outloud saying what it's doing....

Releasing cat vectors..... scanning for more futureistic jargon....

I had a blast for the time i've played.  I lone wolf'd the beta, and i still  loved it.  Now that more friends got a PS4 and this game, i'm on a fireteam every time ive played Destiny and its sooo much better than going solo.

This is definitely true. Enjoyed it way better in a fireteam even though no one uses their mics in this game.

I fireteam it up with the homies, so we all had mics and had a blasty

Screens, art and details for Resident Evil Revelations 2

Sep10

It's been quite a few years since we've seen Claire Redfield in her own adventure, but early next year she she'll face all-new dangers and dread in Resident Evil Revelations 2. As some fans may already know, since the Code: Veronica days she's joined the anti-bioterror organization Terra Save, helping people around the world deal with ongoing bio threats. Revelations 2 begins with Claire welcoming Moira Burton - daughter of Barry! - into Terra Save, but in true RE fashion it's not long before trouble finds our heroes. more

The party is crashed, Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and taken to a mysterious detention center located on an island. They soon encounter demented, writhing enemies called Afflicted roaming the halls of this abandoned facility, and have to team up to survive. The real question is, who brought them here? And... why?

If that sounds a bit like a cliffhanger ending, well... it's intentional. If you recall, the original Revelations told its story with chapters divided into TV-like episodes (even featuring "Previously in Resident Evil Revelations" bumpers). This storytelling technique continues in Revelations 2, which will debut as four weekly downloadable episodes and then as a physical disc once the saga has unfolded.

*Retail disc version includes further gameplay content in addition to the content included in the Complete Season

Each week will end with some kind of cliffhanger that should spur further conversation and speculation; if you want to stay on top of the latest twist, you'll want to check out the weekly episodes. But if you're more interested in an all-in-one experience, there will be a "complete season" digital option and the aforementioned disc for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.

Intersting that the game is episodic. You can either buy each episode or get the full content on a retail disk plus some bonuses.

I don't even remember hearing about Resident Evil Revelations 1 at all

Anyone ever figure out who tossed that Rocket Launcher in the scenario's of Resident Evil 2?

Chūn Lì?

I'm not understanding all the backlash Destiny is getting online, its like no one played the Beta ...alot the complaints involve doing the same missions that were in the Alpha and Beta, but what did you expect? Just not sure wtf people were expecting.

I think Destiny was just too hyped. I mean I enjoyed the alpha and the beta (I only played actual game for about an hour) and they were fun but imo but nothing about Destiny is revolutionary. It just reminds me of a more in depth, polished Borderlands with PvP, which isn't a bad thing at all. I think I'll put plenty of hours into Destiny but I'm sure I'll be moving on to something else in the next month or two.

I'm still waiting for that true next gen experience.

edit: I'm looking at reviews on Metacritic, most of the negative reviews are just too harsh.

Destiny is that to me. It's the only game out right now, worth copping a console for.

To me.
I read that there's a no difference between the last gen and current gen Destiny. If that is true (I don't know if it is or not) then I wouldn't call Destiny a true next gen experience. Of course, this is only my opinion. I don't really expect to be wowed until year 2 or 3 in this gen's cycle. We'll never get that type of jump from PS1>PS2>PS3.

yeah the jumps in innovation from those days are over. i mean some games already look like it could be in real life at times its not bad tho as long as a console is able to provide me with entertainment for years I'm happy.

as for destiny i wish there was more when you start the game. its basically the same thing as the alpha and beta (it is the same tbh

) but i like it. i wish bungie added more exploration to the game and more depth. if you've already played the beta it just feels the same and i was just rushing through missions to play the stuff i haven't before. i like what they were going for but i feel like if we were able to explore more on the planets rather than doing so in missions it would be cool. the pvp is cool too i have no complaints about it except for the golden gun

always screwing me up even got double teamed by 2 dudes shooting them things at me smh

You were going off on those Princes man. I didn't know you could team kill in here either. That dude running with us took me with his sparrow

I need to run with more NT guys man. I hate running this game solo. Got me resorting to leaving my Fireteam set to public instead of friends only, lol

I think that that attests to how good Bungie wanted the game to be all all platforms. Bungie has stated that their graphics engine was built to last 10 years.

I think that Destiny will be a trilogy. Since Destiny 1 is really good to me, I can only imagine how good Destiny 3 will be.
