You have to at least get to the encounter before it lets you start leveling up actually.

Cheese strategy for the wolves I discovered:Man, I thought I was pretty good at video games in general but BB is crazy hard for me...
I've been playing for 10+ hours, and I just get killed by those 2 dogs/wolves on that high bridge in the first world/level/hell whatever they are lol.
How do you even get past those things, they have so much health and dominate me everytime. I've bought an upgrade for all the gear available and I upgraded my weapon. Sheesh, game is tough
Lure them back into the house and use your R2 charge attack against them. They can't actually get into the house so you can kill them pretty easily without getting hit.

One thing to keep in mind for insight:
It's been confirmed that it does make the enemies harder and actually can give them new abilities in some circumstances if you get your insight at a very high number (20 or higher I believe)

is the enterance for the sewer at the bridge before those 2 wolves? i went down there and did not find insight. I came to a dead end where it looked like it was to high to jump down

Die by the boss once then you can upgrade your character. Get your vitality and physical up for the 2nd boss when he transforms he hits hard
I didnt fight the wolves skipped ran past them. I posted my fight a page or 2 back. Keep your distance and wait for openings

Even throwing knives are pretty good in the early bosses. You can chip away a decent bit of health. Not as easy as the molotovs for the enemies to dodge.

Where is the boss? Do I have to sprint past the wolves in order to get there?

amazon is usually really good with shipping like next day forreal. HOWEVER. in this case, it seems everyone dates are all the way out to april 15th+ and all this says to me is, whoever sold this didn't actually have stock on hand to cover the orders. i dont like that method of doing business.

I 2nd this. I actually haven't played since Friday. I got pissed because I got stuck in between 2 cabinets in a room where this wheelchair guy was.

Run past the wolves and stick left. Go down the stairway to the left, you will enter another building, use your torch cuz the room is dark and there are guys in the dark. Go down the stairs in that building go to the left (on the first floor there is a guy in a wheelchair, kill him) and you will open the gate by the first checkpoint. Make it quicker to get to the boss and navigate the level.
The boss is on the bridge with the wolves, one you go past the wolves there is an orge and 3 crows, kill them then you enter the first boss battle.
If you are playing tonight you can shareplay with me I can guide you worse case, my boy did that for me. Once you have that shortcut open you can skip the bonfire area, I only use that area to farm now.

I bit the bullet and bought MLB. I despise watching baseball with a passion now that I'm older but I do like RTTS mode, it's addicting. It'll be the first one I bought since 09 I think.

Actually yes, I do have it on 360, it was free with GWG but doubt I am going to play my 360 again. I will wait until it's on sale. No rush to play it now anyway. TOO MANY GAMES lol
