They're good enough. Personally, I'm looking to get some Astros but these have been working just fine for the last 6 months. I paid about $50 for mine with some BB certific.ates

Does anyone use a gaming monitor to play their PS4? I was thinking of getting a BenQ because right now I'm playing on my 55" samsung. I mainly play COD right now. At first I was looking at BenQ XL2720Z for $360, but then I read up on it and realized I don't necessarily need it for a PS4. That's when I found the RL models which are in the $200-$250 range. Anyone have any experience with them or recommendations?

I don't, but can the the PS4 output to >1080p or >60fps? Seems pointless to "upgrade" your monitor when the PS4 is already maxing out on a regular 1080p tv.

Yea i got mine for Christmas and love them. I posted about them in here a couple weeks ago and everybody else seemed to like them too. Theyre good enough if youre not some kind of audiophile.

The TV should be fine unless you need absolute minimal lag for competitive play.

I recently started playing on a BenQ GL2460 and I am def liking it. Speakers are not that great but I use my headset.

I was in the doom beta a few months back.If it wasn't for the nda id talk more about it but there isn't a whole lot to be said anyway...

The tv I'm using is fine and runs games great, but I'd just much rather play on a smaller screen especially for COD. Instead of spending money on buying a smaller tv I figure it makes more sense to get a monitor since I'd be strictly playing ps4 on it anyways.

Thanks michael. I'll look into the GL models also. I think my friend might be using that same one so I'll ask him.

I've been on a monitor for a little over a year now I think, the response time is def nicer compared to a huge TV. I didn't spend a lot yet on mine, I have an ASUS, got it off Craiglist for like $80. Has a 2ms  response and the color is great, I have no real complaints. I would need to play on a BenQ to see any real difference or benefits to upgrade. I have speakers on mine also which are decent but I mostly use my headset anyway.

My only real gripe is I have 1 HDMI port so I have to either switch between systems or I plug the PS4 in through the Xbox when I do play it.

If response time is a concern then I don't see how hooking up your PS4 to your Xbox is even an option. I use this switcher on my tv Amazon product ASIN B00B46XUQU with little to no noticeable lag so you may want to consider using something like that.

Don't play anything competitive on PS where response is a concern for me, its a loner machine. Bloodborne and Uncharted
Only threw a shot for the homie Nawghty. Free that man!
