The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

So all my destiny heads let me ask a question. The internet(like always) is going crazy over this rumor about how big the game is. They claim there are only 22 missions. Some say 32, but this is all rumors at the moment. Tell me what you think of this information. This was extracted from the beta. I personally think this info is fine as I spent 20 hours in the beta LMAO..

JESUS CHRIST. THAT SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF CONTENT UP FRONT. I SPENT A LUDICROUS AMOUNT OF TIME WITH THE LIMITED CONTENT IN THE BETA. ALL THIS SEEMS OVERWHELMING TO ME.

Never spent more than 60 on a game. Heard the dude in front of me ordered the limited edition Destiny when I picked up The Last of Us. I hesitated and declined it at first. But then I had to go back in to order it lol. Hope it's worth it but as fun as the beta was I'm sure I won't regret it.

it makes sense because the 2 expansion packs are 35 dollars. that would be 95 dollars so you get the game those 2 packs and a ton of other stuff for what 5 dollars more. Smart move imo. I am doing the same as soon as i can find a store in my area with one available lol

Cool, that makes me feel a little better dropping 100. I was surprised so I told the guy "I've heard a lot of places already sold out of Limited Edition." And he said when they first got it they sold out in two days. And then he said something about Bungie just allowed processing through Game Stop whatever that means lol. I'd give it another shot.

On my way home and I opened up TLoU in hopes of any type of manual or anything. Absolutely nothing, no promotion or paper. Just the manual holder with nothing in it smh

The main issue is that Earth only consists of Old Russia. Concept art was shown and Bungie talked about other locations( most likely DLC). And people just got tired of old Russia since it's sort of short.

And while there's no telling how long the missions are on the other 3 planets, it looks like the game will be finished in about standard FPS time( missions I mean) and then you'll have to grind to get to the final raid

We did so much with so little though

that doesn't seem like too little at all.

Maybe if you didn't play the beta I can understand but those who did shouldn't be upset.

Seems like a lot to me, not to mention the two expansion packs in the future. I guess if you plan on playing nothing else but Destiny, this list might be a little disappointing. I have other games I can play now and more games coming in the near future. This is more than enough for me.

There is a manual I believe in game but games now don't even really need a manual. Everything they show you in game and people nowadays aren't stopping to read it like back in the day. It would've been cool if it came with a poster tho

The days of standard edition console games actually paying attention to their packaging are behind us sadly |I

Y'all really had to quote that whole list though?

I feel like to only people on that early in the AM (or late at night depending) are the hardcore people.  I know the peeps i play in FIFA when i play late night are better competition than those I play Saturday/Sunday morning.

Could be you're playing with Europeans because of the time difference.
I've been tempted to buy a psp/vita, but I've always gone the nintendo route with my handhelds....

Vita worth the purchase? Just seems like the titles were always lacking....

Don't regret buying mine. My vita plays catching up to my PS3 plats.

I was procrastinating with the Destiny LE on BestBuy, now they are sold out too. Looks like it'll be the Digital Guardian edition for me.

Well I wasn't expecting a manual lol. Just anything, like you said a poster or an Uncharted 4 promotion.
They probably dropped stuff like add in inserts when they decided to drop the price $10. Obviously those booklets and stuff don't cost anywhere near that much, but they still want to make a bit more money per sale. Thats one of the several reason publishers like digital games, save cost on packaging and stuff.

So supposedly there is a secret ending at the end of TLoU:R
eek.gif

At first I figured it would be a sequel reveal but then I figured that would've already leaked by now. I'm not sure what to think but I should know by week's end

guys, please make sure to not drop a spoiler about the ending. I just deleting a post that kinda messed it up for me. hope the spoiler was just a joke or whatever.

thanks.

I was thinking the same thing. I already beat the game but I'm kind of expecting something new at the end of the Remaster.

I don't think there is. Are you sure you aren't mixing it up with the live action play they did a few days ago?
According to attendees at the event posting on NeoGAF, Druckmann requested that nobody film during the scene, and stressed that it will never be released or revealed in any other form.
