Is this destiny only coop? Can you fight other people online? I signed up with my email and it automatically put me in a game and I randomly saw one guy afk

Yeah. There is the story driven part that you play with other people regardless and then pvp which basically takes your player over to a domination game mode. It Is legit. Obviously there are going to be other modes etc but that is the one for the Alpha.

Yea I've only played for a few minutes but Destiny is better than I expected.

I'm going to hook up my TB's for the first time on a long time. I'm trying to run with you guys. Not trying to fight no big *** spider by myself.

Me and video game spiders don't get along. I can thank resident evil 2 for that.

I must be the only one that's not feeling Destiny. Reminds me of Borderlands, and I hated Borderlands. Me and two other players spent an hour trying to defeat this giant mechanical spider, I just gave up. Not into grinding for XP.

Anyway to redeem codes online/using the app? Won't be home until late tonight,want to download now though

i just redeemed my Destiny Beta off the PSApp. it didnt give me an option to dl though, it just said that it was redeemed and its under the media tab. im hoping thats all i had to do and its on the dashboard when i get home from work.


i really have no intentions of getting Destiny because i cant do more than one FPS (which is always COD) and im not too into the futuristic titles. BUT im loving the praise its getting so far so im excited to play. 4:30 cant come soon enough!!

Since I've had the ps4 the power has gone out at least 4x due to storms and random outages in the neighborhood. This must recent one caused the whole system to lag. I was playing fifa and the players were moving slow as ****. Had the restart the console, smh

Honestly Destiny is way to polished to just be an Alpha I believe this is way Bungie is giving the public teasers I mean it just run so damn smooth

I leave my PS4 in standby mode and figured since everyone in here is saying that it takes a while to download, I could go ahed and get a head start by redeeming in the PS app.  I got home and the download didn't even start.  I actually had to turn my PS4 on to get it to start, so take that for what its worth.

Getcha a nice surge protector if not things like that happen lightning can fry **** all the time happened to me with my 360 It got tapped by lightning trying to play while a storm was on and let's say this it never came back on the same since.

Yea man. I got a Monster surge protector but I think I'm gonna invest in one of those APC battery backups.

I saw there was a clan thing on Bungie.net/alpha  was thinking of making an NT clan but probably wait until the actual game comes out.

Played through the first mission and it was pretty cool. Noticed with the Wizard fight when the room went dark my controller lit up white like the flashlight I had in the game. Also music got more intense. Destiny looks beautiful. Really impressed.

Bloodborne was garbage. Easily the most disappointing thing I saw and played at the convention.

Very true, but when I played the last of us it was under very casual circumstances. This presentation of Bloodborne was when they should be showing off and the build ran like garbage. Sub 15 fps, no HUD, terrible controls, terrible camera, sound effects and music cutting out, scenario scripting not working. Coming from that team I expected something a lot cleaner.

Even the public play through had those issues. I heard there's a leaked video. All the stuttering you're seeing I'm sure people are attributing the recording but it's actually the piss poor framerate of their engine.

Well, the framerate in Dark Souls sucked *** and yet it was still the game of the generation. I'm not worried though. I'm sure Sony's going to take great care with this game and help FROM get it right.
