Seems like it's headed that way. A podcast I listen to pointed it out weeks ago when her fleet was burned. Said the place with the most ships were the iron islands. Also not a coincidence that dario said the number of a 1000 ships. Dunno how many yara stole but it looked like a lot and euron wanted 1000 new ships built to go after them.

So with the Greyjoys taking off to go see the mother of dragons, will it be their fleet of ships that allow her and her people to come over to Westeros?

I'd say yes. The fact that they are showing up with the goods, and not just a false-promise like Euron claimed, should put them in good graces with Dany.

So to keep Euron relevant and his story, they would have to throw the ultimate shocker to Non-Book readers who watch the show and introduce Dragonbinder correct?

To me that's the only way Euron stays relevant and is of any importance, if not the introduction of his character on the show would just be another miss like the Dorne fiasco imo

Yeah if that's the case then Euron character don't really mean much.

I personally didn't want to see the horn introduced, would just make Dany story that much more complicated

Gendry isn't even important right?

I was trying to convince my girl that there is no point in bringing him back

He isn't at the moment, but I was talking about him with a friend once and he made a good point (someone in here made the same point too).

Gendry is a great black smith and they're gonna need some Valyrian steal swords or obsidian weapons to fight the Walkers. What if Gendry learns to forge valryian steel weapons and makes a few more for Westeros?or something along those lines.

He was also the bastard son of king robert.... I don't think it matters anymore since any chance he had at the throne is long gone. I think he is done-zo.

He has King's blood, which is important to Red priests and their rituals. If he were somehow legitimized, he would have a strong claim to the throne as being a legitimate Baratheon heir (especially if Tommen dies, which will probably happen according to Maggy The Frog's prophecy).

As far as forging Valyrian steel, it's not that easy, it's a rare skill. Tywin mentions that only 3 smiths know how to do it. The one he hired to reforge Ice, came from Volantis in Essos.

I have a feeling the finale will be a let down. How they gonna have Snowman fight Ramsis Bolton....Khalessi get to meet up with Greyjoy....Anything at all happen with Tyrion and greyworm...Arya being alive...the hound do anything significant...the faith fight the mountain...something with the whitewalkers and Bran Muffin's raven abilities.

Like there is a ton happening and all of them are leading to a foreseeable outcome. So which story-lines are they going to try to close or climax on the finale?
Traditionally, the 9th episodes are when **** really hits the fan. Although, last season, 8th episode was "Hardhome". They're not going to do everything in just one episode.

Every now and then I'm reminded that Ramsey took Theon's "move".

He REALLY cut his "move" off and sent it to his people. What a cruel world to live in with no "move" :smh:

Crazy that there's only 16 episodes left of the series supposedly. How will they tie everything up? :nerd:

I dunno why they're set on 14 episodes after this season. Finish in however many episodes you need while still making good episodes. They do seem to be rushing through this season. They should've had a faster pace in previous seasons.

^ I know, right? I feel like the series could easily go another 2-3 full 10-episode seasons. I don't want them to milk it for all it's worth and drag it on, but there are so many storylines I want some closure on and I feel like its impossible in 16 episodes.

Plus, its not like the show or HBO is hurting, they eating off GoT.

And anyone else feel like they about to drop some bombs in these last few episodes? Season has been going too well, I think we're in for Red Wedding-type ****.

EDIT: avy check, RIP :wow:

No way they can fit this story into a movie

I think a 3 hr movie with the united Esteros/Westeros vs the White Walkers would work fine. Hell, they could just steal the template to LOTR:Return of the King and I'll be happy. Just cut out that weird love ending with the hobbits

Man this would be so :pimp:. I definitely think there'd be more than enough interest in seeing how the story finally ends that they'd be able to make a blockbuster movie finale of the War of the Dead

They can definitely make a few movies or specials. There's enough history in the series that fan would want to see. Some type of Dothraki special episode or something on the Long Night would be dope to me.
