OLIVIA MUNN EXPOSES FUR FARMS - VERY DISTURBING

If we didnt have laws, society, and real morals than yeah sure. Fortunately we do and we opt for other animals as we work together. Just quit with the stupid reaching. My dude mentions slavery and eating people  for the record animals eat their own kin but it isnt the norm and species but it isnt the norm. Just try to be normal

Came in here thinking this was about munns un shaved chocha. Some of y'all are just know it all hypocrites that can't accept another view. You don't have to agree, just listen.

I haven't read through this thread so I may be way off. Hell I didn't even watch the video.

All I have to say is, is that if you are going to ridicule these types of practices be 100 percent. I am sick of these activists who damn the person does the labor but expects beef (or whatever) to be on their salad or in their hamburger.

I mention slavery because people looked at certain groups as animals. Don't say I'm reaching just because you are too stupid to understand my point.

If someone thinks eating animals is immoral he is well within reason to think so although my moral view may not be in tune with his. Human beings do things to each other I could make the same argument that altruism or caring about other humans is nonsensical. And people who think caring about other humans that aren't in their race who suffer need to get off their moral high horse. Morality isn't universal after all people would go to church in the morning while beating their slaves at night.

Machines monitoring humans and being in control is one way to end our existence. How about we just continue to learn from our mistakes, evolve, and make moral decisions ourselves. We're in a rough period we're alot of people don't know right from wrong while many others do but that doesn't mean we won't continue to grow ethically. We didn't need a machine to tell us slavery was wrong and abolish it for us. I don't know if you know what you're arguing. The reason this video is being made is just for those reasons I listed. To bring light to something that's wrong so it can be fixed. Not to create machines to monitor our every doing and punish us.

Humans have shown very little ability to sustain anything. We deplete resources and then move on to the next one. We can't sustain or protect anything! Trees, species of animals, resources, anything. Machines do not = end of humans, but I'd argue those afraid of machines taking 'power' have the most to lose from it.[/quote]

It's hard to sustain resources the way the world is run with so many countries having on separate pages. People don't like the idea of it but I always thought a one world government would solve a ton of problems. No wars over resources, money and resources wouldn't have to be spent on wars over resources, we could monitor resources wisely instead of worrying about others being irresponsible, we'd have a better understanding of the resources the planet offers in order to maximize effiecency...all so we can reach sustainability. Obviously there are many more factors involved and obviously it would have to be done right to work, but I see many advantages to it.

Machines could definitely end the world, or at least destroy humans. First things first is anythings possible, you have no idea what may or may not happen unless you can see into the future. Technology advances exponentially. You have no idea what kind of discovery may be made. In 100 years we went from building the first car ever to building a car that drives itself. And 30 years ago there was someone saying that would be impossible. The person I quoted said our actions need to be monitored by machines. If we allow machines to have a mind of their own to monitor our actions that means we are giving them the power to control us and punish us with their own set of morals. A set of morals we would have no power over to change. Machines are very useful and detrimental to our progress as a species but once you give something physical superiority, unlimited "brain" power, and the ability to think like a human....which was pretty much the persons solution that I quoted, it will = end of humans. Now don't go calling me some end of the world crazy person saying machines are gonna take overrrrrrr. I'm just saying its crazy to think its not possible.

The thing is, I feel terrible for those animals, but in the grand scheme of things we have ALOT bigger issues with ethics down the road than what's happening in this video. And technology has a big part to do with it. I feel this just went very off topic and probably shouldn't have went that in depth but whatever. Should probably not go any further though.

tl;dr - machines used to sustain resources = good. Machines telling us what's ethical and what's not and punishing us = end of humans.

i still dont understand how this coincides with slavery tho.

i understand that people called slaves animals but for people to call animals animals is wrong too?

can u clarify?

Where's the compassion for plants? There living things too
Plants do not have a Central Nervous System or a Brain... The extent of it is that they can detect a problem and repair it. And even then I don't think you can say its a "conscious" effort.

You cant actually say that a plant is suffering or feeling pain.

So...why can't they kill them humanely and then skin them?

Like what is the point of doing that while theyre alive?
This. I don't see how you can be mad at rocking furs and then go hit up Chick-Fil-A or go get a burger or steak or something.

My only issue is that they seem to try and kill them as brutally as possible. Seeing that animal squirm and shake and stuff wasn't right. IMO if they're gonna do this, just put something in their food or whatever to make them die as painlessly as possible. No need to try and chop their heads off/skin them while they're alive.

dude, the point is that people called slaves animals and treated them like animals, mistreating them and sometimes killing them slowly for the stupidest thing, in this case the parellalel is drawn between humans and animals(like the ones in the video) were treated very similarly, if not the same. Beating them to death because he grabbed cookie out the jar. I mean, this is american history for crying out loud. ****. according to your logic, it was okay to go out and scalp native americans for rewards. we should still be using that. Scalping 'animals' :smh:

I've reached astronomical ruslting proportions. I think my kinect energy's through he roof.

brb, vaporizing as I slam onto the ground.

Thank you miketysonkiller. We benefit in this country from the hardships of others in the same way we benefit from the hardships of animals. The parallels I am drawing are clear people are either stupid or choosing to ignore it.

Again I'm not saying we shouldn't eat meat but don't question someone who chooses not to on moral grounds.

>D just reading through the arguments.

A video showing the graphic inhumane skinning, choking, and killing of animals and all you do is fit over it :smh: NT at its finest.

Why can't y'all be like the rest of the planet and just be like :frown:

Lmfao  what about the hardshipof plants. So ******g backwards. Pain and suffering isnt why you're so against it. And dude said chopping the heads off is inhumane and cruel  ill be sure to slip my chicken some nyquil before murking it. And while we continue to reach on Pevels not even mr fantastic has reached.... Ill take a side of human with my burger since its obviously comparable. midas-well say nt is like the new york times because they both have words and a comment area. Or alcohol is like soda cause you drink both and they're not very nutritious. "a cell phone is technically a computer so you don't need a laptop" cmon man you're just not understanding the connection! #Stupid ******g metaphors, similies, and comparisons

Didn't read I've worked with monkeys with more intellect. Judging from people like this they r far more deserving of empathy.

Lol instead of executing people on death row we should sow their anuses shut and keep feeding them till they explode. Death is death, doesn't matter how long it takes.

Lol I dunno if I have that much faith in the rest of the planet. The same people that would attend public stonings and lynchings are the same people who feel nothing when an animal suffers a painful death.

Up until the very disturbing part, I was getting ready to google Olivia Munn to see some new nudes.

I am disappoint.

But we evolved from and are very much like monkeys so your insults dont even make sense.... You buffoon
